For today's Shoe Saturday I chose my one of my favourite shoes for daytime, my converse all star oxford trainers. I have the shoes in burgundy but you can get them in all different colours. They cost 52 euro. These shoes are great because they're so comfy and last a long time. Converse are great because they go with absolutely anything. You can wear them all year round but they are perfect for summer wear with skirts, shorts, jeans or dresses.

A perfume I am obsessed with for summer is Nude by Rihanna. The bottle is really elegant and understated. Nude has a sweet fruity and floral scent with a hint of vanilla. It has an intimate and comforting feel, it feels sexy in a classy way.

I love this perfume and rate it 5/5 because it's a great price and is perfect for a sexy summer scent.

For today's Tan Tuesday I chose Sally Hansen's Airbrush Legs. It costs 7euro.

All of my friends are obsessed with Sally Hansen so naturally I decided to see what all the fuss was about. Sally Hansen is great if you are in a hurry and need and instant tan. I would recommend getting the water resistant one because if it rains then the non- water resistant one will run and become streaky. I thought it was great because it dries instantly and you don't feel really sticky for ages afterwards. I recommend putting on lotion beforehand because the tan dries so quickly you don't get much time to blend it whereas with the lotion you do. I did notice that my skin became really dry and I got a rash afterwards but I have extremely sensitive skin anyways and none of my friends have ever had problems with it.

I would recommend this to anyone who didn't have such sensitive skin like myself because it is so great and affordable, I know for sure that if they came out with a range for sensitive skin I would definitely buy it!

For today's Manicure Monday I wanted to have a nice vibrant colour for the summer so I chose "flashy pumpkin" by essence colour and go.

        

To prevent flooding the cuticle I used a different nail brush this time. The colour and go nail varnishes are so great because they're so affordable and dry quite fast.

Method:

1. To start, I filed all my nails to make sure they were even and there were no hangnails.

2. After I filed my nails I applied a thing base coat to prevent the polish discolouring my nails.

3. Then I applied the first coat of  "flashy pumpkin."

4. Once the first coat of polish had dried, I applied the second coat.

5. After both coats had dried completely I then applied the top coat.

Seeing as she got married yesterday I am dedicating today's Celebrity Style Sunday to Kim Kardashian. Although Kim has made some questionable choices at times, it doesn't take away from the fact this girl has some serious style. Kim has been embracing her curves for years and shows women that we don't need to be stuck thin to be gorgeous take a look at my favourite Kim Kardashian styles:

Normally I am not one to like jumpsuits because I think they can look really unflattering but when Kim stepped out in this feminine Kardashian Kollection in April 2014 I changed my stance! You can get the same jumpsuit in Lipsy here:

Kim is great when it comes to embracing her curves in tight pencil skirts, here she is in Paris May 2014 carrying daughter North showing just because she's a mom now doesn't mean she's no longer sexy. If you want to get a pencil skirt like Kim's you can get an asos one here:

While in London in 2012, Kim donned this red Kardashian Kollection for Dorothy Perkins bodycon dress. Although this dress is no longer for sale you can get a similar asos version here:

Kim was rocking her most typical day time look of a blazer and jeans but this season added a bit of change with the ripped denim boyfriend jeans. Like many other celebs this season Kim has been photographed wearing distressed boyfriend jeans creating a new way to wear denim this summer. One of my all time favourite Kim Kardashian red carpet looks was when Kim wowed in this simple yet stunning red gown by Roland Mouret at the Marine Corp ball in 2012. I am so obsessed with this gown it is ridiculous Kim manages to look elegant yet sexy at the same time, one word, LOVE. Even how she styled her her into waves swept to the side completed the look so perfectly there is not one thing to criticize with this look.

For this week's shoe of the week I chose gold metallic T-bar platform sandals from River Island. You can get them for 55 pounds or 75 euro. They're great for height. Also, metallic is really in this season with celebs like Jessica Biel and Kristin Bell wearing metallic platforms proving, you don't have to keep metallic for the holiday season you can wear it all year round!

A perfume which I am loving at the moment is Daisy by Marc Jacobs Eau So Fresh. Firstly, I am obsessed with the bottle itself, it is the cutest perfume bottle I have ever seen with the colourful and fun daisies on the lid. This perfume is great for a summer scent, it's a lovely soft feminine floral fragrance. Another thing I love about the Daisy Eau So Fresh is it is a lot lighter to wear than the original Daisy perfume. This perfume is seriously just heavenly!

I rate this perfume at 5/5 because I would recommend it to anyone for summer it's just such a feminine scent.

What I Wore Wednesday

What I Wore Wednesday

For today's what I wore Wednesday, I thought I would write about last nights outfit because I went out for dinner. I'm afraid I didn't get any full outfit pictures but here is the waist up. Seeing as I was going out for dinner I wanted to be a little dressed up but not overly fancy.

I wore a blue Kardashian Kollection top which I had gotten last year from Dorothy Perkins.

I put a simple black vest top under the Kardashian top because it was quite low.

I also wore a black bodycon skirt from Boohoo because I didnt want to be too restricted from jeans where I was sitting down and eating.

Due to it being quite wet and stormy I paired my outfit with black tights and black ballet pumps from New Look.

For today's Tan Tuesday I chose Lancome Flash Bronzer magic mousse. It costs 29 euro.

I have used the magic mousse quite a bit and loved it every time. I found that when I used the mousse for my debs, I ended up preferring the tan I got over the spray tans that my friends had gotten. It's great because the mousse is coloured so you can see if you have missed a spot or have any streaks. It's also great because it doesn't have an orange tint so you don't look ridiculous and it fades like a natural tan so you don't go from really dark to really pale.

I would rate this tan 5/5 because it suits all skin types, the only thing that I don't like which is quite common with fake tans is that I feel sticky for a little while after but, even then it still dries faster than other tans I have tried.

For today's "Manicure Monday" I decided to do a nice light lavender colour for summer. I like the lavender as it's sweet and light for summertime. I chose "Lavender Cupcake" from NYC New York Colour Expert Last Nail Polish.

I really like the NYC New York Colour nail varnish as it doesn't flood the cuticle when you apply it, and it lasts long it doesn't quite last the seven days but I found I did get at least three days with no chipping, which I think is still pretty good for a nail varnish. Their nail varnishes are also great because they're really affordable.

Method:

1. To begin, I filed all my nails so they were even and that there were no hangnails.

2. After I filed my nails, I applied a base coat to protect my nails from staining with the polish.
3. Next, I applied the first coat of the "Lavender Cupcake."
4. Once the first coat had dried I applied the second coat of the polish.
5. Finally, when both coats were dry I then applied a top coat.

This weeks Celebrity Style Sunday is dedicated to Blake Lively.

She has been killing it this week at Cannes Film Festival. For years Blake has had a real eye for fashion but just when you think she can't get any better, she still manages to out-do herself. Here are my all time favourite Blake Lively fashion moments:

Blake ravished in red at the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards. Blake wore a red Versace gown with a plunging neckline. She wore Christian Louboutin shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. Blake's her was sleeked back into a long braid.

In November 2013, Blake wowed in a Balmain mini and nude Christian Louboutin heels at a presentation where she was announced as the face of L'Oreal Paris Egerie held in Paris at the Shangria-La Hotel. Lively kept her hair loose and relaxed at the event.

Although Blake has had some major fashion moments with several different designers, since becoming the face of Gucci she seems to be a designers dream to dress.

Blake started off her Cannes debut with a bang in a two toned ox blood Gucci Premiere design. She styled the look with a messy ponytail braid.

Blake's latest look at Cannes was a serious movie star statement. Once again, she wore an exquisite Gucci black and white gown. Lively was dripping in Lorrain Schwartz diamonds with her hair tightly pulled back into a side bun.

 

Hands down my favourite Blake Lively fashion moment is from the Met Gala in May 2014. The couple were the essence of true old Hollywood glamour at the event both dressed in Gucci. Blake's custom golden Gucci gown had a plunging neckline was paired with perfectly tousled waves.

There we have it folks Blake Lively's best fashion moments. This girl can truly do no wrong!

My Shoe Saturday is dedicated to Korky's Strappy Wedges HW4.

I love these shoes as you can get them in all different colours. I already have them in the black, nude and coral. These shoes are great because they're not too expensive but nice and affordable. I am also obsessed with these because they're seriously the most amazingly comfortable heels I have ever worn. If I'm in these shoes I can last the entire night and not have to change shoes. They're seriously so comfy!

I would definitely rate these shoes 5/5 because they're so comfy and affordable but you can also get them in a wide variety of colours.

My favourite perfume for day wear is Britney Spears Fantasy. I know it's been out for a few years but even now I still love it. I love this perfume for day wear as it smells nice and fruity and sweet. It reminds me a bit of the smell of candyfloss and vanilla cupcake. I also find it has a great lasting power and I still get compliments by the end of the day. It's amazing to have a sweet perfume with out being over whelming and make you feel ill.

I would definitely rate this perfume 5/5 because after all these years I am still obsessed with it.

Today I am giving me first tan review for Tan Tuesday.

The tan I chose this week was Baby Browne self tanning lotion. It costs less than 20 euro

I chose the medium tan as I have quite a light skin tone.

I really liked this tan as when I put it on, it appeared instantly so if you need an instant tan it's good. Also, I noticed it appeared to get darker over a few hours. This tan was great because unlike most tans it didn't have a really bad smell and it didn't have like an umpa-lumpa orangey tint to it so you looked tan and not orange. It also dries quite quickly.

I also found this tan great because I have very sensitive dry skin and I find a lot of tans dry out my skin really bad but this one didn't.

Another great thing about the Baby Browne tanning lotion is that it fades naturally, the first time you have a shower after applying it the excess tan washes off but I was still left with a nice glow which lasted a few days.

As far as tans go, I would rate this tan 5/5. I really liked it and would recommend it to anyone

Welcome To My Blog!

Here's a little information about me... My name is Sophie. 

I'm 18 and am currently living in Ireland with my amazing family, two horses and my Cavapoo puppy Harley. 

 Over the years my friends have always asked me where I get my clothes and are always borrowing them. Then recently a few people have messaged me on twitter and Instagram asking me where I get my clothes and do I have a blog, so I decided to start this one. 

I'm not saying I'm an expert or anything but I will post what latest trends I really like or what I think of certain products. 

As of August 2014:

- if I am sent something to review I will be completely honest and tell you my opinion. I am not compensated for talking about a product and these are all my own opinions, I am just giving you guys an idea of what the product is like if you are thinking about purchasing it.
