Shopping Haul

My Shopping Haul

I recently went shopping so I thought I would do a blog on my haul. I actually went twice, the first week I went to Blanchardstown shopping Centre because I needed to pick up an outfit for my parents anniversary party in a few weeks. The second time I went to Dundrum shopping centre, this time was more just to hit Penney's (Primark) and get some cheap bits and bobs. Sadly we had spent so much time in Penney's that we actually didn't have time to go anywhere else, but at least I got loads!

Blanchardstown

I got this dress in French Connection it was on sale for only 46 euro so I had to get it!

This dress I got in Lipsy for my parents anniversary party! It's a navy dress with gold embroidery from Michelle Keegan's line for Lipsy.

McCabes Pharmacy

I bought Essence Colour and Go nail varnish in the shades Breakthrough and Black is Back. I also bought a nail file.

I also bought Skinny Tan which I will be reviewing for Tan Tuesday soon and Lancome flash bronzer tan which I have already reviewed.

Penney's/ Primark

In Penney's I got a light wash jegging skater skirt. I also purchase really cute Minnie Mouse socks.

I got two peplum shaped tops. One is a black low cut top with a zip down the front. I also got a bright peach peplum top.

I also purchased light wash skinny jeans which are a super soft material. I also got a light material green top with spaghetti straps. The top is also light and flowy.

The last clothing item I got was a light material button down blue sheer shirt. The first accessory I got was a tanning mitt.

I got two pairs of pajamas. One was a peach and grey short pair. The top was in peach and said "Wake Me At Noon" and it came with grey shorts. The other pajama's I got were Bambi themed. The pair were pink and the bottoms had Bambi's face imprinted on them, they were full length. On the top it had Thumper's face on the front which was too adorable to resist.

Lastly I got two low cut tops with deep arms, one is lemon and the other is in grey and says Berlin.

The last two things I got were Johnson's sensitive Baby Wipes for removing make up and the most adorable (and delicious) Hello Kitty mouthwash which was strawberry bubblegum flavoured.

That's it folk's my shopping haul! Hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Beauty Buy Of The Week

Beauty Buy Of The Week

This week's Beauty Buy Of The Week is my absolute favourite mascara of all the ones I have tried, Benefit's They're Real mascara. A couple of months ago I bought the small bottle to try it out and became obsessed! I recently got the bigger version for my birthday because I love it so much. It's so great because it gives you such amazing lashes without having to wear fake ones. With the emphasis on your eyes fake lashes give you with out looking over-the-top drag queeny.

You can purchase the amazing Benefit They're Real mascara here:

Hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Tan Tuesday

Tan Tuesday

For this week's Tan Tuesday I chose Rimmel London Instant Tan Eraser. Sometimes when tan goes a bit haywire it is handy to know I have a back up plan to help me correct it. The creamy tan remover gets rid of tan from the body or the dace in 30 seconds. You just massage the cream onto the area you want to clean and then rinse it off.

I would rate the Rimmel Sunshimmer Instant Tan Eraser 5/5 because I haven't found any product like it and it does a great job when you need an extra hand with your tan.

Check it out here:

That's all for this week's Tan Tuesday, hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Manicure Monday

Manicure Monday

For this week's Manicure Monday I went with two colours. The Broadway Impress nails were actually still on a couple of my fingers so I left them on my two pinkies and added some colour to the other eight. For the other nails I chose a really pretty mint green from Sally Hanson. The shade was "jaded."

Method:

Impress Nails:

1. Using the enclosed prep pad prep the nails.
2. Peel off the sticker from the back of the nail.
3. Place firmly on you own nail and press firmly down the middle and sides of the nail.
4. Repeat with how many nails you want to place.

Polish:

1. Once the two pinky fingers were down, I applied a base coat to the rest of my nails.
2. After the base coat was dry, I painted on the first coat of polish.
3. Once the first coat was dry, I then layered the nails with a second coat of polish.
4. To finish off the nails when they were dry, I added a top coat.

Celebrity Style Sunday

Celebrity Style Sunday

The beautiful Emma Stone may have only stepped on the scene a few years ago but she has been killing it every day since with her amazing eye for style. Emma is so diverse with her style she wears and that's why she is this week's Celebrity Style Sunday.

This first Emma Stone look is from 2012, she attended the Elle Women in Hollywood Awards. She wore this adorable hot pink collared Valentino Resort 2013 dress. You can get a similar dress from Bank here:

Emma Stone wowed at the World Premier of The Amazing Spiderman 2 in London in April 2014. She wore this stunning Atelier Versace gown and paired it with Christian Louboutin Viveke sandals. To accessorize she wore a textured gold necklace from David Webb and to add a contrast she paired the look with a berry coloured lipstick. River Island do a similar necklace which you can get here:

In 2011 at the MTV Movie Awards Emma turned heads in this lacy black dress which had yellow accents from Bottega Venata dress. She paired it with chunky copper Fall 2011 pumps from Casadei and an orange knot clutch in nero silk faille stretch also fromBottega Veneta. Awear made a similar dress here:

On June 28, 2012 Emma attended "The Amazing Spiderman" World Premiere in California. She looked regal in this white square neck Chanel dress which had thick red embroidery. Debenhams have these similar J by Jasper Conran court heels here:

I am absolutely in love with this look from the Golden Globes in 2011. This amazing minimalist peach dress from Calvin Klein, it has a stream lined silhouette. Emma looks head to toe perfection! J Furmani do a similar clutch to Emma's here:

This look is from when Emma was at the Academy Awards nominations in January 2013, she channeled Mad Men in this gorgeous flare dress. This pretty white dress is from Andrew Gn with a matching black belt. She paired it with black Christian Louboutins. You can get similar shoes here:

Emmawas out in High Line Park in New York back in April 2013. Her relaxed style was uber chic! She wore Paige Denim Verdugo Ultra Skinny jeans in destructed black. She paired it with a Joe Fresh striped sweater and Isabel Marant Dear black suede ankle boots. You can get similar jeans from Berska here:

Emma looked perfection at the UK Gala premiere of "The Amazing Spiderman" in June 2012. She wore this gorgeous Elie Saab Fall 2012 RTW plunge neckline jumpsuit. She paired it with Christian Louboutin Pigalle point toe pumps.

At the 2012 Kids Choice Awards Emma looked absolutely adorable. She worea fitted cream blouse with a matching box pleat skirt from Antonio Berardi. Schuh do similar shoes to the ones Emma wore here:

In April 2014, Emma looked sleek and stylish attending BBC Radio. She was cool and sophisticated in a Saint Laurent black wool cropped blazer and Rag and Bone skinny jeans. You can purchase her skinny jeans here:

Emma wore this collared fit and flare Valentino Fall 2014 dress to Good Morning America. She paired the dress with Rockstood gold pumps and a black toggle coat with a flared hem in Gucci's EF collection. To complete her look, she accessorized it with diamond pyramid earrings in rose gold. ASOS do a similar skirt here:

I absolutely LOVE this look from the 2014 Met Gala in New York in May. For accessories she wore a EF collection diamond disc stack ring and studded Tod clutch. Emma looked sweet yet sexy in this Thakoon top and colour blocked skirt. Miss Guided do a similar skirt here:

One of my favourite looks is this sultry one from the MTV Video Music Awards back in 2010. Nothing makes a look sexier than black leather, and this is no exception! She rocked a licorice leather Emilio Pucci sheath dress with a purple clutch. You can get a black faux leather dress here:

In February 2012, Emma attended Essence Black Women in Hollywood luncheon. This is my all time Emma Stone look, she looked like such a princess in this white beaded fit and flare Elie Saab dress. It's just so perfect.

That's it for today folks, hope you enjoyed this week's blog!

July Glossybox

July Glossybox

So I have started getting Glossyboxes and am so excited to review them. This month's Glossybox is dedicated to the 4th of July stars and stripes.

 I
I must say so far I am loving everything I received and half of the stuff I would never think of buying.

Products:

Carmex Lip Balm

The first item is this Carmex Lip Balm, this is a well known brand which I didn't even know was originally from the US. The original Carmex lip balm soothes dry lips which is so great because my lips are terribly chapped and most of the time I never notice a difference even if I use lip balms religiously. However, this actually worked and I do like the smell and the taste of it too. It makes my lips look plump and glossy while managing to repair and hydrate my lips. Another great plus is it's super cheap here:

Absolute New York Perfecting Eyeshadow Primer

The next item in my July Glossybox was the "Absolute New York Perfecting Eyeshadow Primer" I must admit I never actually thought of getting eyeshadow primer I have always just used concealer as a base, now that I have discovered it though I don't know how I lived without it, it holds the eyeshadow perfectly! This primer is oil free so don't worry girls if you have oily skin, it evens skin tone around the eye area so it will decrease any redness and keeps eyeshadow crease free and lasting. You simply spread the primer on your upper eyelid and apply your eyeshadow. You can purchase the Absolute New York Perfecting Eyeshadow Primer here:

Bellapierre Mineral Lipstick

Another item from my Glossybox was Bellapierre Mineral Lipstick in the shade "Catwalk" which was a nice, light pink colour. This lipstick was really pretty and suited me perfectly because I normally play up my eyes and go for a more neutral lip so light pinks or nudes work better. I found this lipstick great because the colour was super nice and it lasted really long even after having a drink. You can purchase the Bellapierre Mineral Lipstick here:

Broadway Impress Nails

These Broadway Impress nails were in a nude shade. Usually I can't wear fake nails because my nails are quite long naturally so they don't usually fit but these did! I already did a review for this week's Manicure Monday which you can check out here: You can purchase your own set of Broadway Impress nails here:

Pur Minerals Dirty Girl Detoxifying Mudd Masque

The July Glossybox came with this Pur Dirty Girl Detoxifying Mudd Masque. It unclogs pores, clarifies and gently exfoliates all skin types. The blend of deep cleaning natural clay,it sloughs away dead skin and dirt and absorbs pore clogging impurities. My skin felt and looked fresher and more radiant. I liked this product because my skin can be so sensitive and dry and gets irritated by just looking at some products, so I was a bit nervous to risk my skin, however this was amazing! I am so glad I tried it because my skin didn't react badly and you can feel it working while it leaves your skin soft and smooth! You can purchase the Pur Dirty Girl Detoxifying Mudd Masque here:

Well that's it folks, my breakdown of the July "Stripes and Stars" Glossybox. Hope you enjoyed today's blog!
