Celebrity Style Sunday

Celebrity Style Sunday

This week's Celebrity Style Sunday is dedicated to my favourite looks from the American Music Awards red carpet. This list is actually quite small because I must saw I was underwhelmed with the outfit choices celebs made this year.

One of my favourite looks from this year's AMA's has to be Kate Beckinsale in this stunning Kaufmanfranco gown with a Bulgari "serpenti" necklace to accessorize.

Fergie oozed sex appeal in this Halston Heritage gown. The black halter neck dress featured gold straps and a gold belt. It also had an unbelievably sexy thigh high slit.

Okay so Katie Krause looked super pretty in this adorable and flirty mini dress but I have no idea who designed it and can't find it anywhere.

Jessie J rocked the red carpet in this amazing white pant suit that featured a plunging neck line.

Taryn Southern stunned the AMA's in this adorable gold embellished mini dress.

Becky G looked unbelievable in this white and see through mesh mini.

My hands down favourite look of the night has to be the incredible Selena Gomez. Gomez dropped jaws in this long sleeved black Giorgio Armani Prive gown which was backless.

That's it for this week's Celebrity Style Sunday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Fragrance Friday

Fragrance Friday

This week's Fragrance Friday is Halle Berry's Reveal perfume. I really enjoy this fragrance (as you can see from the now empty bottle.) If you're a fan of Beyonce's Heat but find it a tad too sweet then this is the perfect scent for you, like Beyonce it has the sensual and musky smell but minus the sweetness. This fragrance is perfect for a winter scent and it has a great lasting power.

I would rate this scent 3.8/5 because it's a great scent and has a strong lasting power and it's quite cheap, however after a while you can get bored with it so I found I leave it a good while between uses.

You can purchase Halle Berry's Reveal here:

Beauty Thursday

Beauty Thursday

This week's Beauty Thursday is dedicated to this month's Glossybox review. As usual I was excited for this Glossybox as soon as I had finished my review for October's one. However, although this month was good, I still found I was a little disappointed with the box.

Heal Gel Body

This product was a gel that is made to "smooth and regenerate troublesome areas of the skin." You simply apply the gel to the areas daily and wait to see the results. As you all know I have super sensitive skin so I was nervous to put anything on it even if it might help. I applied a very thin layer to a patch of dry skin and after a few days it did seem to be much better. We got a sample, however the full sized product is available for £39.50 here:

Lollipops Eye Pencil black "Goodbye Moon"

This was probably one of my favourite products this month, I love eye liner and the packaging is super pretty. This eye liner has a twist as it's not just a normal pencil, this eye liner is retractable. I found it lasted all day and had a great pigment. We received the full sized product worth 14 euro, which is available here:

Monu Soothing Hawaii Facial Oil

You apply this oil after you have done your cleansing and toning routine. You simply apply 2 pumps into your hand and massage into your skin. I actually love the smell of this oil, it's nice and soothing. You can purchase this item for £26 here:

H2o+ Face Oasis Hydrating Treatment

This item was basically a hydrating gel and was a sample size. You massage this into your face after cleansing like a mask for five minutes and then massage in the excess gel. I didn't actually find this product that great which was really disappointing. It was good but not overwhelming. You can get a full jar for $36 here:

Burt Bee's Lip Shine

We got the full sized product of the lip shine which was worth £6.99. I'm not sure if everyone got the same shade but I got the shade "smooch." I found the colour a bit dark for me but I did like the product, I would love to try a different shade which would actually suit me. You can purchase this product here:

Manicure Monday

Manicure Monday

For this week's Manicure Monday I chose to paint my nails with "Midnight Taupe" from Maybelline. (Oh my lord my hand looks pale with the flash on.) I actually loved this nail polish because it didn't chip for ages and looked super sleek.

Method:

1. File all nails so they're even and there are no hang nails.
2. Apply a base coat to prevent staining the nail.
3. Paint on the first layer of nail varnish.
4. Once the first layer is dry, apply the second layer of polish.
5. After the second layer of polish is dry apply a top coat to prevent chipping

If you want to purchase Maybelline "Midnight Taupe" you can do so here:

Celebrity Style Sunday

Celebrity Style Sunday

For this week's Celebrity Style Sunday I am breaking down my favourite looks from the Country Music Awards red carpet.

One of my favourite looks of the night was Danielle Bradbery. She looked stunning in this classic black gown which featured a plunging neckline.

Carrie Underwood (and bump) showed just because you're pregnant doesn't mean you can't rock a red carpet! She wore a custom made Lorena Sarbu gown which featured a high-low skirt.

Kimberly Perry was looking sexy in this Georges Hobeika black gown which featured a sheer sweetheart neckline.

Meghan Trainor showed you can still be stunning in a short dress. She wore this gorgeous Monique Lhuillier blue dress.

Jana Kramer looked unbelievable this year at the CMA's. She turned heads in this beautiful Badgley Mishka gown.

The last of my favourite looks but in no means least was Lucy Hale. She looked smokin' in this red hot gown by Romona Kevesa.

Fragrance Friday

Fragrance Friday

For this week's Fragrance Friday we are throwing it back to an old but favourite perfume of mine, Hilary Duff's With Love fragrance. I actually found this bottle in one of my old bags and there were a couple drops left of it. This scent is kinda of a warm, soft and spicy scent. I also found a few hours later out of the small spritz that I had on I could smell a hint of vanilla. I honestly don't know how I had forgotten about this perfume it's such a sexy scent perfect for a date night.

I would rate Hilary Duff's With Love fragrance 5/5 because it's an amazing scent which you can wear all year long and it has a great lasting power!

If like me you remembered how amazing this perfume is and need it back in your life, you can purchase it here:

Tan Tuesday

Tan Tuesday

For this week's Tan Tuesday I chose Garnier Ambre Solaire no streaks bronzer. I chose it in the medium shade. This spray is so easy to use. I really liked the colour I got with this tan, but due to the fact the spray is clear I would recommend doing the tan gradually for a few days and build up layers because it is heard to tell if you have missed a spot.

I would rate this tan 3.8/5 because it does have a fake tan smell and takes longer than it says it does to develop but overall it's a nice tan!

You can purchase Garnier Ambre Solaire No Streaks Bronzer Dry Body Mist here:

Manicure Monday

Manicure Monday

For this week's Manicure Monday I chose a purple colour from Essence Colour and Go, the shade is called "Girls Night Out." I used Essence Colour and Go again  because it is so fast and easy to do when you have a busy schedule but want your nails looking great. Plus, like I have said before their nail polishes are super cheap!

Method:

You can purchase Essence Colour and Go nail polish in the shade "Girls Night Out" here:

Celebrity Style Sunday

Celebrity Style Sunday

.

This week's Celebrity Style Sunday is dedicated to the fabulous and sassy Lo Bosworth. This girl is no stranger to being referred to as a style icon since girls have been copying her style since she was in her late teens in hit reality shows Laguna Beach and then The Hills.

Here Lo supported her bestie Lauren Conrad at the LC Lauren Conrad for Kohls Launch Party in October 2009. She wore a Topshop sequin swing crop top, a LC Lauren Conrad boyfriend blazer, Christian Louboutin Declic suede pumps and a Chanel crocodile quilted chain hand bag. Topshop do a similar cami available here:

Lo looked rock chic glam when she rocked up to the MTV Music Awards in September 2010. She donned this fabulous Gabriela Cadena gold metallic dress.

Miss Bosworth attended Pepsi Refresh Project Cafe back in January 2010. Looking as chic as usual she wore; Elizabeth and James shoes and an Elizabeth and James IV blazer. She accessorized with a Prada Nylon Jacquard cross body bag in nude. The Kardashian Kollection for Lipsy have a similar heel that is a black and gold version which you can purchase here:

Lo attended Club Confidential back in October 2011. Sadly there's not much information about her outfit but I can tell you she is wearing Christian Louboutin Alti pumps. I do love this outfit though, it's so simple and chic wherever it is from. Boohoo have a midi skirt much like Lo's here:

The Hills star was seen filming in Hollywood in January 2010. To accessorize Lo had Melinda Maria Sabina infinity pod hoop earrings. She wore a McQ Alexander McQueen Moir full skirt mini dress and Co-op Barneys New York studded buckle ankle boots in black. You can purchase a similar dress from Miss Guided here:

The Laguna Beach alum attended the Noon by Noor Launch Event in July 2011. She donned a Noon by Noor top, a Noon by Noor skirt and Christian Louboutin Rolando patent pumps in nude. A similar white top is available from Lipsy here:

Lo attended the FitPerez.com Holiday Health Bash in December 2010. She wore a Herve Leger essential capped sleeve bandage dress and a Chanel crocodile quilted chain bag.

Back in January 2011, The Hills star attended the Outback restuarant in Boca Ration Florida. She wore J. Brand powerstretch jean leggings in Starless, a Parker slit sleeve top and Yves Saint Laurent Hamptons Tribute sandals in tan. You can purchase similar jeggings from River Island here:

April 2010, Lo was seen filming The Hills in Beverly Hills. She wore a Splendid stretch camisole, J. Brand 10 ankle skinny jeans, a Balenciage city bag and Miu Miu double cross platform sandals. Lipsy do a black camisole available here:

Lo was seen leaving Trousdale night club in August 2011. She wore go to pair of Christian Louboutin Alti pumps and a Chanel classic flap lambskin bag in beige.

Miss Bosworth rocked the Maximum Warrior event back in December 2010. She wowed the crowd in this sexy Herves Leger v-neck dress in cream. Miss Guided do their own take on the dress here:

Lo looked STUNNING while attending the French Connection Showroom in March 2010.  She wore a French Connection Vision dress and Yves Saint Laurent Tribtoo pumps. French Connection do a similar dress to the one on Lo available here:

One of my favourite looks from Lo is the outfit she wore to The Hills Live Hollywood Ending finale back in July 2010. Lo rocked the red carpet in this Adashi Shoji dress, a Swarovski clutch and Christian Louboutin Mille Cordes in gold shoes. To accessorize she kept it simple with a Vahan bracelet and matching ring.

We are down to my all time favourite Lo Bosworth moment. This simple yet stunning look is from when Lo attended LIV nightclub in Miami back in October 2009. She turned heads in this Alice and Olivia sequin dress which featured a keyhole back and Christian Louboutin Rolando patent leather pumps in nude.
