Fragrance Friday

Fragrance Friday

This week's Fragrance Friday is dedicated to Adidas' perfume "fruity rhythm." This fragrance for girls was launched back in 2008. This scent is a great for girls just starting out in the perfume world. It's a girly and fresh fragrance that has a good lasting power.

I would rate this scent as a 4/5, I actually like this scent even though it would be suited towards young girls, it's not a sickly smell and has a very good staying power.

You can purchase Adidas "fruity rhythm" here:

Beauty Thursday

Beauty Thursday

Hey guys, so for this week's Beauty Thursday I figured would do a mini E.L.F haul and review for you guys. I just wanted to say I bought all of these products myself and as per usual this is my own opinion, also this was my first time buying from E.L.F and I honestly loved everything and it was all super cheap.

Stipple Brush

The first item I bought was their stipple brush, I have been using this for about two weeks now and I it has officially replaced my old brush. The brush cost £3.95 and I found that it lived up to the hype of creating a flawless airbrushed look when I applied my foundation. I have washed it twice and haven't notice it starting to shed yet which is a good sign, however my one complaint with the brush is I found I need to use more of my foundation because it's like the brush just absorbs it.

Shimmer Eyeliner Pencil

The next item I bought was their shimmer eyeliner pencil in "Iconic Ivory" , I have been looking out for a white eyeliner for a while to see if they really do make your eyes look bigger. I applied it along my waterline. The pencil came with a sharpener in the lid which is quite handy. Although I liked it, it's not overly pigmented, I'm not 100% if it's just the the white is harder to see, I might try another colour and see if that one is more pigmented but at least with this shade I'm not overly impressed. The shimmer eyeliner pencil is £1 so I'm willing to try other shades.

Long Wear Lip Liner Pencil

I also purchased the long wear lip liner in the shade "Mauve" which cost £1.95. I lined my lips with this and it went on nice and smooth and lasted a good period, I was even able to eat and checked my lips after and the liner was still there. To check the durability of the liner I just applied that and a bit of gloss over it. My impressions of this liner is it's a great price and lasted well, I will definitely be buying more shades.

Lipstick

I bought two of their lipstick's which were £1.95 each, the orange shade is "captivating" and the pinker shade is "flirtatious." The orange lipstick was stiff to twist but the other one was fine so I think it might just be that one lipstick. I really liked these lipsticks they lasted well and were extremely pigmented while giving off a matte finish. I will definitely be buying more shades.

Studio Makeup Mist and Set

The last item I purchased was the elf Mist and Set make up setting spray. I have been using this every time I have done my makeup since I bought it and have fallen in love with it. For my day time make up the spray has done a great job at lasting all day and I've noticed a huge difference. I have also tried using it a couple times on night's out and I have found it pretty good at keeping my make up in place however I've read a few reviews where some people have had difficulty when it comes to nights out. The make up mist cost £3.95 and I've probably used it 10 times now and haven't even made a dent in the amount of spray left. One thing I do recommend is that when you spray, spray it a bit further away from your face because it comes out quite heavy.

That's it for this week's Beauty Thursday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog and as I already said I purchased all of the items myself and these are all my own individual opinions.

What I Wore Wednesday

What I Wore Wednesday

For this week's What I Wore Wednesday I wore a black and silver sequined dress. I got it a couple of years ago from my aunt and it's from Oasis. Sadly the dress isn't available anymore because it isn't new.

Manicure Monday

Manicure Monday

For this week's Manicure Monday I went for a nude nail with a black ring finger. I used Attitude's "Peaches and Cream" and Essence's Colour and Go "Black is Back."

Method:

1. I began by filing my nails to prevent any hangnails.
2. I then applied a base coat to prevent the polish discolouring my nails.
3. Next I painted all of my nails excluding the two ring fingers with the "Peaches and Cream" from Attitude polish with a first coat.
4. After I painted the first coat, I applied a first coat of "Black is back" to the ring fingers.
5. Once the first coats were dry, I applied a second coat by repeating steps 3&4.
6. After the second coat dried, I applied a top coat to prevent chipping.

Celebrity Style Sunday

Celebrity Style Sunday

This week's Celebrity Style Sunday is dedicated to the insanely beautiful and talented Ashley Tisdale. What I love about Ashley's style is that off of the red carpet, her style is simple and casual like most other people she enjoy's to be comfortable in tracksuit's or jeans.

Ashley was seen out and about in Toluca Lake in November 2014. She's wearing Isabel Marant Bekket sneakers and an Iro Salinas leather jacket. You can get a similar jacket to Ashley's here:

In March 2013 Tisdale attended the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. She stunned in this Rafael Cennamo Couture Spring 2013 embroidered cocktail dress, Rebecca Minkoff Vincent Minaudiere clutch and Jerome C Rousseau pop sandals.

Ashley looked effortless while out and about in Los Angeles back in July 2008. She wore a Free People long seamed skirt in white, a Louis Vuitton Galliera GM bag in monogram bag and a Na Hoku Hawaiian slipper pendent. You can get a similar maxi skirt from New Look here:

In January 2014, Ashley supported her good friend Zac Efron by attending the That Awkward Moment premiere. She wowed in a Sky Fayina long sleeve sequined dress and Valentino Rockstud pumps.

Tisdale was seen at a recording studio in January 2009. She looked comfy and casual in an American Apparel faux denim high waisted leggings, an Abercrombie and Fitch Evie sweater, Lauren Moshi dream catcher tee, a Fendi Zucca spy bah and UGG's in the colour chestnut. You can purchase Ashley's UGG's here:

Ashley looked classy and chic out in LA back in July 2012. She was seen wearing a Nasty Gal utility batwing blouse, Cleobella Dalila satchel, Chloe Susan booties in beige, and Siwy Hannah cropped jeans in Snowstorm. She accessorized with Canel 5185 sunglasses and a Rolex day date watch. River Island do similar jeans here:

The future Mrs French attended the Summer TCA tour back in July 2014. She looked edgy yet effortless in a Mason by Michelle Mason red mini leather skirt, an All Saints Tonya top in black and a pair of L.A.M.B Noel sandals. She accessorized with a Dylanex Sienna necklace and a Chanel J12 watch. You can purchase a similar skirt from Miss Guided here:

In July 2008 Ashley attended Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf. She wore a Sparkle and Fade cami and Free People French Terry skirt. You can purchase a similar skirt from Miss Guided here:

In April 2014 Ashley was seen out and about looking chic. She was seen wearing Genetic denim the Shane skinny jeans in slink, a Free People Midwest button down in strawberry plaid and Seychelles Under Construction boots. She accessorized with Gucci 3502 sunglasses. You can purchase a similar shirt from New Look here:

Ashley looked adorable at the UK premier of High School Musical 3 in London back in October 2008. She donned a Jenny Packham dress and a CC Skye Mirror clutch.

One of my favourite looks of Ashley Tisdale is actually from last week, she attended the Nine Zero One salon launch on Melrose Place. Ashley looked incredible in Givenchy Freya sandals and a Monique Lhuillier Paige lace jumpsuit. She accessorized with a Prada envelope clutch. ASOS do a similar one here:

Lastly my all time favourite look from Ashley Tisdale is from the Warner Bros and InStyle Golden Globes after party back in January 2013. She looked jaw droppingly gorgeous in Jerome C Rousseau Orner strappy sandals and an LK Bennett Alexia clutch, along with this incredible champagne coloured Issa dress.

Fragrance Friday

Fragrance Friday

This week's Fragrance Friday is Chance by Chanel. This is the only Chanel perfume with a round bottle instead of the classic rectangle one. It's so simple and elegant, and the fragrance itself gives off a fresh scent with a hint of a sensual spice.

I would rate this scent a 4/5 because I love the bottle and it has a great lasting power. I do really like this scent but I personally found it a bit strong to be an everyday scent but as an occasional perfume I do love it.

If you want to purchase Chanel Chance you can do so here:

Beauty Thursday

Beauty Thursday

So my favourite time of the month is here time to review this month's Glossybox. I have to say they spoiled us in the new year with all five products being full sized.

MeMeMe Eye Line Pencil in Clay

The first item in my Glossybox was a MeMeMe eye liner pencil in "clay" which was a brown colour. It's a great colour to make neutral eyes that bit more intense. It's a perfect creamy consistency and super pigmented. It also smudges easily to create a smokey eye. You can purchase MeMeMe Eyeliner in "Clay" here:

Kueshi Revitalizing Face Toner

Next up in my Glossybox was Kueshi Natural and Pleasant Cosmetics Revitalizing Face Toner. First off can I say how AMAZING this smells, like words can't describe how good it smells. The toner soothes the skin and is gentle enough that my skin wasn't sensitive to it. It removes any last traces of excess makeup or oils and my skin felt nice and hydrated without making my skin feel greasy. You can purchase Kueshi Revitalizing face toner here:

Jelly Pong Pong All Over Glow

Another item in the January Glossybox is the Jelly Pong Pong All Over Glow, it's an illuminating gel. You simply dab the gel along your cheek bones and your brow bones and then blend with a brush.

Nicka K New York ColorLuxe Powder Blush

We also received the Nicka K New York ColorLuxe Powder Blush. The loos blusher promises to give radiant and glowing skin. It came in the shade Romantic which is pink with a hint of red. The applicator dispenses a lot of blusher so I preferred using a brush. The blush is extremely pigmented which is great however I personally prefer less bright shades but if you do like colour you will enjoy this. You can purchase the Nicka K ColorLuxe Powder blush here:

Naked Lips Organic Lip Balm

The last item in the January Glossybox was the Naked Lips Organic Lip Balm. This item is perfect with the Winter cold, I got the super fruits balm which is extremely moisturizing. Another plus of the balm is it smells so go good, my chapped lips have definitely improved and hopefully with continued used they'll be gone in no time.

This week's What I Wore Wednesday is going to be from an outfit I wore out a couple of week's ago. I am wearing a tight black skirt from Penney's/Primark it's just from their basic's selection so they always have it, and I paired it with a red peplum top I own from Lipsy.

- Although the red time I am wearing is no longer for sale you can get a similar one from Boohoo here:

Celebrity Style Sunday

Celebrity Style Sunday

For this week's Celebrity Style Sunday I figured I would do my favourite looks from the red carpet at the Golden Globes.

One of my best dressed was Chrissy Teigen in an embellished Zuhair Murad with long sleeves.

Kate Hudson stunned as per usual on the Golden Globes red carpet. She wore this gorgeous white Versace gown with featured a plunging neckline.

Kate Beckinsale absolutely wowed on the red carpet in this dazzling Elie Saab gown.

Another actress which stunned at the Golden Globes was Emily Blunt. She wore Micheal Kors while channeling an Egyptian goddess.

Taylor Schilling chose this dramatic red Ralph Lauren gown. This powerful dress was sure to grab many people's attention.

As per usual Jessica Chastain stunned on the red carpet in this beautiful Atelier Versace.

Definitely one of my favourite looks is from the Weinstein Company's after party and Chanel Iman. She dropped jaws in this incredible metallic one shoulder black Zuhair Murad gown.

Fragrance Friday

Fragrance Friday

This week's Fragrance Friday is Britney Spear's Radiance perfume. It's hard to believe this was Britney's ninth fragrance back in 2010. This perfume is a nice and light scent and has already become one of my favourite Britney fragrances. This is a great sensual long lasting scent which isn't over powering. It's a combination between slightly floral and fruity with a soft musk.

I would rate this scent 5/5 because I LOVE this scent and it has excellent lasting power.
