Beauty Thursday

Beauty Thursday

So this week's Beauty Thursday is dedicated to this month's Glossybox! I have to say you guys know I love my Glossyboxes but this month's is hands down my favourite! The packaging is always super cute however the Iconic Hollywood Edition is just amazing and the products were pretty incredible too.

Lord & Berry Lipstick Pencil

So the first item in this month's Glossybox was the Lord & Berry Lipstick pencil in the shade "kiss" and I am definitely in love! It's super pigmented and is such a beautiful cream consistency. It has a matte finish and costs 10-11euro on certain sites so will be great for nights out.

Astral Original Face and Body Moisturiser

When I opened the tub of the cream it smelled super familiar and so I went to show my mum, she said she used to use it on my as a child and that it was one of the few things that helped my dry skin. Since I got it I have been using it religiously and my skin is so soft . My mum got so excited over the reminder she went out and bought me a 200ml tub which costs 5.50 euro.

POP Beauty Kajal Eyeliner Pen

Next up was this eyeliner pen and it was my least favourite this month. I loved that it was super pigmented however I found the smudger on the opposite end wasn't great and it didn't have much lasting power at all.

Nougat London- Luscious Lip Balm

I adore getting lip balms in my Glossybox because it's often something I forget to buy or don't think to buy so it's super handy. I loved the smell of this lip balm and it has almost that waxy texture so the little jar will last you a long time. It feels great and moisturising on my lips. These lip balms cost around £6 or 8euro.

Model Co Bronze Shimmer

We are at the last item in this month's Glossybox :( So this shimmering bronzer is a nice pigment however I wouldn't contour with shimmer I'd prefer to use matte but I still think it's quite nice to give a bit of a sunkissed glow or to use as an eyeshadow too. This product sample size cost 8 euro but I would say you will get a long time out of the sample size.

Manicure Monday

Manicure Monday

This week's Manicure Monday I chose to do a nude nail. I used e.l.f "desert haze."

Method:

1. File all nails so they're even and there are no hang nails.
2. Apply a base coat to prevent staining the nail.
3. Paint on the first layer of nail varnish.
4. Once the first layer is dry, apply the second layer of polish.
5. After the second layer of polish is dry apply a top coat

So that's it for this week's Manicure Monday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Beauty Thursday

Beauty Thursday

So for this week's Beauty Thursday I thought I would do a tutorial for the dark smokey eye that I wore to my college ball a few week's ago.

To begin, I did my usual foundation routine which you can check out here: which includes contouring and filling in my brows. I then primed my eyes using Absolute Perfecting primer.

To start my eye's I swept the shade "darkhorse" all over my lids from my Naked palette.

I then blended the shade "gunmetal" also from Naked palette into the crease/

Next I placed a piece of tape diagonally from the bottom of my brow to create a cat eye smokey eye. Once the tape was on I blended "blackout" from my Naked 2 palette into the outer crease.

Using a pencil brush I applied "gunmetal" again under my eye along the water line.

I then swept "blackout" again under my eye along the water line on top of "gunmetal" and drag it out slightly to make the cat shape.

To finish my eye shadow I swept my "50 shades of grey" eyeshadow from my February Glossybox under my eyes.

Next I lined my eye's with black eyeliner. I used my kohl MeMeMe eyeliner pencil.

To complete my eyeliner I traced the line of the tap with Benefit's push up liner.

I then removed the tape and tidied up the eyes and applied my Benefit They're Real! mascara. On the night of the ball I did then wear fake lashes however, I'm terrible at applying lashes so only really wear them when my friends are around to apply them for me.

To complete my look I lined my lips and apply my Rimmel Kate Moss Lasting Finish lipstick in the shade 16.

What I Wore Wednesday- What's In My Handbag?

What I Wore Wednesday

Hey guys so for this week's What I Wore Wednesday, I thought I would show you what's in my handbag! So my bag itself is from River Island, I got it for Christmas and use it everyday for college.

So when you open up the bag there are two little pockets on one side and a zip pocket on the opposite side which is being hidden by the refill pad. So in the large area of the bag I keep my refill pad and pencil case. I also have my purse my portable phone charger and a spare pair of glasses. I also carry a handy travel size of deodorant.

My purse is a plain black purse from Gionni and it has a gold zip. It also features leopard print detailing on the inside of the purse.

On one side of the purse it has two little pockets. One of these pockets features a travel mirror and a small tube of e45 cream. The other pocket has two packets of chewing gum (I always have one packet and a back up.) It also has a memory stick, my Bellapiere lipstick in "catwalk," a nude Maybelline lip liner and a Nivea lip butter.

The last pocket is a zip pocket. This features a pair of ear phones, a travel hair brush and a nail file.

- You can purchase the same handbag as mine here:
