Manicure Monday

Manicure Monday

For today's Manicure Monday I wanted to have a nice vibrant colour for the summer so I chose "flashy pumpkin" by essence colour and go.

Method:

1. To start, I filed all my nails to make sure they were even and there were no hangnails.
2. After I filed my nails I applied a thing base coat to prevent the polish discolouring my nails.
3. Then I applied the first coat of  "flashy pumpkin."
4. Once the first coat of polish had dried, I applied the second coat.
5. After both coats had dried completely I then applied the top coat.

If you want to try a similar shade to "flashy pumpkin" or other essence colour and go nail varnishes you can get some here:

That's it for this week's Manicure Monday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Celebrity Style Sunday

Celebrity Style Sunday

This week's Celebrity Style Sunday is dedicated to my best dressed celebrities from the Much Music Awards.

To kick things off Katherine McNamara donned a simple but pretty black dress at the Much Music Awards. It's not super bold but I personally liked it over other peoples outfits.

The beautiful Gigi Hadid was one of my favourites hands down from the Much Music Awards! She looked UNBELIEVABLE in this crop top and midi skirt which featured a thigh high slit. She also wore this fabulous white cropped leather jacket which had her name embossed on the back, the stunning outfit was designed by Mikheal Kale.

Another lady who rocked the red carpet of the Much Music Awards was Cristine Prosperi. The actress wore a slinky cream dress and nude heels.

The fabulous Sarah Hyland stunned on the red carpet in this black revealing Solace London gown.

Bella Thorne also looked gorgeous in this red lacy Julian MacDonald dress with a pair of matching red heels.

Beauty Thursday

Beauty Thursday

This week's Beauty Thursday is dedicated to the June Glossybox. This edition is the festival edit and is all about the necessities needed to rock out at festivals this Summer. I have officially been getting Glossyboxes for a year now and I adored the little notebook I got as a thank you!

Halo Fragrance Free Facial Wipes

First up in this month's Glossybox were a packet of these facial wipes from Halo. This pack of 10 was a travel size and costs £1.20. I tried two wipes and they were great to remove my make up and didn't burn my skin after I used them. They are great for sensitive skin because they are fragrance free, I will definitely be buying these, they're super handy to have!

Glossybox Flash Tattoos

The next item in my Glossybox was a pack of these flash tattoos. They are perfect for festivals and are a full size pack. These tattoos are worth £6.50. I haven't tried these because I'm saving them but I am soooo excited to try them!

Monu Spa Rosewood Reviving Mist

I also got this mist spray in the June Glossybox. This was a full size and costs £11.95, it can be used to refresh your face and also to set your make up. This mist smells so good and is super refreshing on the skin, and amazingly my sensitive skin didn't react to it! I haven't noticed a difference with it when it comes to setting my make up and making it last but I'll continue to see.

Essence XXXL Shine Lip Gloss

I ADORE this lip gloss!! It is super pigmented and has a great sparkle to it (sadly it doesn't show up how amazing it is in the swatch!) This was a full size product and costs £1.38.

Kueshi Anti cellulite Booster

The final item in this month's Glossybox was this anti cellulite cream which was a full size product that is worth £14.55. I honestly don't know how well these products work but it smells nice so I'll keep using it as a moisturizer.

If you want to subscribe to Glossybox, you can do so here:

Manicure Monday

Manicure Monday

For this week's Manicure Monday I chose NYC Expert Last Nail Varnish in "Lavender Cupcake." As I have said before I love NYC New York Colour nail varnish as it doesn't flood the cuticle and it lasts long without chipping, plus they're super affordable.

Method:
1. To begin, I filed all my nails so they were an even length and there were no hangnails.
2. After I filed all my nails, I applied a base coat to protect my nails from discolouring
3. Next, I applied the first coat of the polish.
4. Once the first coat had dried I applied a second coat of the polish.
5. Finally, when both coats had dried I then applied a top coat.

Celebrity Style Sunday

Celebrity Style Sunday

This week's Celebrity Style Sunday is dedicated to colourful and unusual wedding dresses. Last year I did a post about my favourite celebrity wedding dresses which you can view here: With that here are some fabulous colourful and unique wedding gowns to have fun looking at!

To kick off, earlier this month Aly Michalka got married in this gorgeous ethereal, lavender coloured gown.

Next up in unconventional wedding gowns is the talented Keira Knightley. She wore a knee length, blush coloured tulle wedding gown which was designed by Chanel.

Gwen Stefani wore a pink dip dyed gown when she married fellow rocker Gavin Rossdale. Her gorgeous gown was custom designed by John Galliano back in 2005.

The beautiful 90210 star, Shenae Grimes married the love of her life in this gorgeous black Vera Wang gown.

The always stylish Olivia Palermo went unconventional for her wedding. The stylist wore a simple cashmere sweater and a tulle skirt from Carolina Herrera.

Jessica Biel looked flawless when she married Justin Timberlake. She wore this pink Giambattista Valli gown.

In December 2013, Kaley Cuoco added Sweating to her surname when she became another bride who wore pink. Kaley wore a gorgeous pink Vera Wang gown.

So that's it for this week's Celebrity Style Sunday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Beauty Thursday

Beauty Thursday

For this week's Beauty Thursday I chose to do a make up look to show you guys. For a nice Summer look I went for a nice pretty warm gold eye look with a bright red lip.

To begin I did my usual foundation routine which you can view here: Except I used Rimmel London BB Matte cream instead of foundation. I then primed my eyes with Absolute Perfecting eye shadow primer.

To start, I swept elf's element shadow in the shade "Pink Ice" all over my lids.

Next I blended another elf element in the shade "Peach Fizz" into the crease. This gives such a pretty warm gold glow look to the eyes.

I then blended elfs mineral shadow in the shade "Wild" into the outer v of the eye. This was just to give a slightly smokey effect to the eye.

To complete my eyes I lined my water line and along my upper lash line with my MeMeMe kohl eye liner pencil. I also applied my SoSusan Flutter mascara.

To finish my look I lined my lips with a red liner and then used my Lord and Berry lipstick pencil in the shade "kiss."

Completed Look:

What I Wore Wednesday

What I Wore Wednesday

For this week's What I Wore Wednesday it's gonna be another 21st birthday outfit. For this 21st, I wore a black playsuit which had long sleeves and cut outs on the side. It also had gold buttons up the front. I paired it with a pair of black and gold heels from Barrotts. Sadly neither part of the outfit I wore is for sale anymore but I still wanted to show you guys.

So that's it for today's What I Wore Wednesday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Manicure Monday

Manicure Monday

For this week's Manicure Monday I chose to do a cute design. I went for a pink background to the nail and gave three dots and a stripe. For the pink colour I used Wet 'n' Wild's Megalast in "Candy-licious" and used an white coloured polish which I'm not sure of the brand.

Method:

1. File all nails to prevent hang nails and apply a base coat to prevent discolouration of the nails.
2. I applied a first coat of "Candy-licious."
3. Once the first coat dried, I applied the second coat.
4. After the second coat had dried I applied three small dots in a line in the middle of each nail.
5. I then carefully painted a line across the tip of the nail.
6. Once the white polish had dried, I applied a base coat to prevent chipping.

You can purchase Wet 'n' Wild Megalast "Candy-licious" here:
