Manicure Monday

Manicure Monday

This week's Manicure Monday I decided to dedicate to giving you lovely people some ideas for holiday nails. I always loving getting my nails done for my holidays because it's so much easier than worrying about chipping but even if you do them yourself it's so much fun to play with more colours than you usually would.

That's it for this week's Manicure Monday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog and feel super inspired for your holidays!

Beauty Thursday

Beauty Thursday

This week's Beauty Thursday is dedicated to this month's Glossybox. The box itself is adorable with the Vive La France theme. The box itself I am obsessed with however, I was a tad disappointed with the products this month because my personal preference is getting make up stuff and it was very skincare based this month.

Noxidoxi Enhancing Serum Base

The first item this month was a serum from Noxidoxi. The serum is meant to "hydrate the skin's surface as well as deeper layers." It also has antioxidants and anti-inflammatory  properties. You should apply daily under your moisturizer and a full size costs £33.46. I adore the smell of the serum and it feels super nice on my skin. You can purchase the serum here:

Teoxane Cosmecueticals Perfect Skin Refiner

Next in this month's box was a skin refiner from Teoxane Cosmeceuticals. You apply this at night to a cleansed face, avoiding lips and eyes. I haven't had the chance to test this product yet as I don't like changing up my skincare too much too quickly but the smell of the product is amazing and I have read good reviews on it. A full size product costs £70 which is quite expensive so it would want to be good! You can purchase the Perfect Skin Refiner here:

Lollipops Lip Balm Delicieuse

One of my favourite items in the box this month's Glossybox was this Lollipops lip balm. We got an eye liner from the brand before and I love it so I was excited to see another item from them. Plus I never think of buying lip balms but I do love using them so I get so excited when I get one in a Glossybox. This one smells super yummy with a hint of vanilla. This product was a full size and it's worth £4.15, you can purchase one here:

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Light Cream

The last skincare item I got as this light cream from Vichy. I really like this cream it's nice and lightweight but still moisturizing. This product is also kind to sensitive skin, I definitely loved this product. A full size of this product costs £31 and is available here:

Glossybox Travel Pouch

The last item in this month's Glossybox is my favourite! We got this adorable little travel make up bag which was designed by the same person who designed the outside of the box. It's so chic and adorable I am obsessed.

If you wish to subscribe to Glossybox, you can do so here:

What I Wore Wednesday

What I Wore Wednesday

For this week's What I Wore Wednesday I thought I would do a haul post, it's been a while since I have done a clothing haul and I'm excited to show you what I got! So I went to Dundrum Shopping Centre last week and I only had an hour so I stopped into Penneys (Primark if you're in the UK) and Bershka and here's what I got:

Penneys/ Primark

So first off I got a Cocoa Brown 1 hour tan and a tanning mitt. The Cocoa Brown tan was 6.90 and the mitt was 3.50. I also got a Sally Hansen airbrush legs in medium glow because the packaging looked different so I wanted to see if the formula had changed (a review to come.)  I forgot to take photos of these items but I also bought a pack of oval cotton pads, a bottle of Batiste Dry shampoo and a small bottle of the Garnier Miceller cleansing water because I have heard great things about it but didn't want to buy a big bottle and my skin react badly with it (so far so good, I might do a review on it if you guys would be interested?)

I also got this peach coloured envelope clutch. It cost just 7 euro and is so adorable, perfect for Summer.

I picked up three pull on mini skirts. One was a super cute black and white print which was only 2.90, another one was a bright coral pink colour which was also 2.90 and the third was just a plain black mini skirt that cost 1 euro, such a STEAL!! A girl can never have too many skirts especially at those prices.

I also bought the worlds most comiest skinny jeans for 8 euro. I got them in a medium wash coloured denim and they were the skinny pencil kind.

Next I bought this grey stretch crop top for 3 euro. I bought this to go either with my jogging pants when working out or to go under other tops.

I also purchased this bright seam free crop top for 4 euro. This will be great for working out and it's so cute.

When I stop into Penneys, I always have to stock up on their stretch camis. I bought this white one for 2.50.

The last item I bought in Penneys/ Primark was this Ooh La La pink dipped hem crop top. This top cost 3 euro and will go great with jeans or shorts.

Bershka

There was a 70% off sale in Bershka so I had to make a quick pit stop before I left Dundrum.

I got these adorable high waist red shorts with a zip on the side for my holiday next month. These were on sale from 12.99 to 7.99 so I had to pick them up.

I also picked up this adorable white bardot style top. This top cost wait for it... 5 euro!

I bought this off white and navy stripe long crop top. It features a keyhole and was on sale from 17.99 to 12.99!

The last item I got wasn't on sale but it was so pretty I didn't care. I got this white lace crop top which a silver zip all the way up the back. It cost 24 euro I think, I absolutely love this top it's so pretty!

So that's it for this week's What I Wore Wednesday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog and my haul!

Manicure Monday

Manicure Monday

For this week's Manicure Monday, I chose a SoSu by Suzanne Jackson polish in the shade "Who's The Boss?" As you have probably guessed by know the SoSu polish has quickly become one of my favourite nail polish brands, I'm in love with this deep purple colour and the pigmentation is incredible plus, they last so well without chipping.

Method:

1. To start, I filed all my nails to make sure they were even and there were no hangnails.
2. After I filed my nails I applied a thing base coat to prevent the polish discolouring my nails.
3. Then I applied the first coat.
4. Once the first coat of polish had dried, I applied the second coat.
5. After both coats had dried completely I then applied the top coat.

That's it for this week's Manicure Monday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Beauty Thursday

Beauty Thursday

This week's Beauty Thursday is dedicated to a review of Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara. Debenhams in Ireland have recently started selling the Too Faced range so I was extremely excited when I saw that and plan on buying everything! To start with though I decided to buy their Better Than Sex mascara which cost 22.50 euro.

So as awkward as the name is the packaging is absolutely adorable with the sleek baby pink barrel. They have a special hourglass shaped brush and collagen in the mascara that makes your lashes look full and long after one coat.

I've been using it solidly for a month now and I'm in love, this mascara has definitely gone on my list of favourites. It's great at giving volume and length and people have even commented asking if I'm wearing false lashes when I have worn it! I was pleasantly surprised that there was no transfer on my lids when I wore this mascara.

For daytime use I find one coat does do a great job at giving me gorgeous full lashes but I apply 2-3 coats if I'm going for a more intense night time look.

Some find that the mascara can be clumpy when they use it because it is so thick but I haven't had that problem so far.

Overall, I absolutely adore this mascara and it has definitely become and item I can't live without, I never knew there would be a mascara I would love as much as my Benefit They're Real! mascara but the Too Faced Better Than Sex is honestly amazing!

That's it for this week's Beauty Thursday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog!
