Manicure Monday

Manicure Monday

For this week's Manicure Monday, I thought I would show you guys my holiday nails. I chose a SoSu by Suzanne Jackson polish called "first date" because it lasts super well without chipping which is great because I don't want to be worried about chipped looking nails on holidays. I am also obsessed with this amazing red colour!

Method:
1. File nails so they're all even and there is no hangnails.
2. Apply base coat to prevent discolouring my nails.
3. Once the base coat is dry, apply first layer of polish
4.Once the first coat of polish dries add a second coat.
5. Finally, once the second coat of nail polish is dry you apply a top coat.

You can purchase SoSu by Suzanne Jackson polishes here:

Beauty Thursday

Beauty Thursday

For this week's Beauty Thursday, I was recently scent an AA Essentials Skincare natural deodorant in the scent grapefruit and cedarwood and thought I would review it for you guys. As usual, I must stress all of the opinions expressed are my own. AA Skincare have many years experience in aromatherapy and natural skincare, and create naturally effective products for your skin whilst still being affordable.

I received the deodorant almost a month ago and have tested it for a while. There are three different deodorants in the collection- bergamot and aloe, grapefruit and cedarwood and lemongrass and lavender. They're made with natural ingredients and don't contain alcohol or artificial fragrances.

The roll on container makes sure that none of the product is waisted. The deodorant has a clean and light sweet scent. The roll on glides on the skin smoothly and dries out in a minute or two without feeling sticky.

Pros:
- Made with Natural ingredients
- Great scent
- Lasts well, only need to reapply after 5 hours
- The roll on ensures no product is wasted

Cons:
- The glass wouldn't be great for travelling and could break easily.

Overall I enjoyed using the product and would recommend it to a friend. It's the first natural deodorant I have tried so I don't know how it compares to other natural ones but I definitely love that there are more and more natural products coming out.

If you want to purchase AA Skincare Essentials Grapefruit and Cedarwood deodorant, you can do so here:

Celebrity Style Sunday

Celebrity Style Sunday

This week's Celebrity Style Sunday is dedicated to my favourite looks from the red carpet at the Teen Choice Awards. So here it is, my best dressed list from the 2015 Teen Choice Awards:

First up is Lea Michele, she looked super fun and Summery in Monique Lhuillier.

Shay Mitchell was also stunning at the TCA's wearing a Versus Versace suit dress from the 2015 Spring collection and a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti triple strap Corine sandals. She accessorized with Graziela Gems jewelry.

Bella Thorne oozed sexy, Summer fun when she rocked up wearing this flirty and short Balmain dress. She accessorized with Stuart Weitzman shoes and a Lee Savage clutch.

Another lady who looked fabulous was Jordana Brewster. She wore an Ulyana Sergeenko dress with a Edie Parker clutch.

Gina Rodriguez looked flawless in this textured silver design by Alberto Ferretti.

I was extremely in love with Britney Spears' outfit when I saw what she wore. She wore this glitzy plunging high-low dress designed by Mikael D's prefall 2015 collection.

Beauty Thursday

Beauty Thursday

For this week's Beauty Thursday, I chose to do a post on my August favourites. These favourites are the skincare and beauty products I have reached for most this month.

My first favourite this month has become one of my favourite mascaras all time. I am absolutely OBSESSED with the Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara it's insane!

Another product I am loving this month is Sally Hansen's Airbrush Legs medium glow. I don't know if they reformulated it but I have been wearing the tan quite a bit lately and I've been adoring it. The colour itself is amazing and it lasts 2-3 days, as well as not completely drying out my skin anymore.

My favourite lipstick this month is hands down my Rimmel London Kate lipstick in the shade "03." This is a great nude- light coffee shade. This is such a great shade and goes with most outfits, the lipstick also smells amazing and is super moisturizing.

I have found my official favourite set of fake eye lashes. They are the Eylure Kimberley lashes in the number 110. They are so gorgeous and don't look fake.

One item I have been absolutely adoring is this NYX matte finish setting spray. It does a great job at holding my make up in place, every time I go on a night out I have found that by the end of the night my make up is always perfectly in place thanks to this.

It's official I have jumped on the band wagon! I am loving the Garnier Micellar water, it's so gentle on the skin and removes my make up with ease. It's the perfect feeling lazy cleanser.

My last item this month is Inglot's HD foundation in the shade 73. This is such an amazing foundation and has made it to my list of favourites. It's a great full coverage foundation, perfect for nights out. It lasts amazing and looks flawless.

That's it for this week's Beauty Thursday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog!
