Celebrity Style Sunday

Celebrity Style Sunday

I decided to dedicate this week's Celebrity Style Sunday to my best dressed list from the recent American Music Awards. I absolutely love seeing how stars dress on the red carpet and I know you do too, so here are my favourite's from the 2015 American Music Awards.

To kick off my best dressed, I chose Hannah Davis. She looked stunning in this sheer metallic gown, as well as the gorgeous slim fit, the dress featured a sexy exposed back.

Another lady who stunned the red carpet was the fabulous Demi Lovato. Demi channeled her old Hollywood glam in this black and gold Loreno Sarbo gown.

Kendall Jenner looked incredible on the red carpet. Not only did she debut new bangs but she brought major sex appeal to the red carpet wearing an Oriett Domenech little black dress.

Selena Gomez sparkled down the red carpet in this open back, pencil shape red dress from Givenchy's 2014 Spring collection.

Zendaya was fashion forward in this adorable pink mini floral embroidered Emanuel Ungaro dress.

I am completely obsessed with Gigi Hadid's look from the AMA's, there are few people who could pull this off and Gigi is definitely one of them! She wore an all white custom outfit by Bao Tranchi.

Another lady who stunned in white was the beautiful Nina Dobrev. She showed off her perfect figure in this GORGEOUS Zuhair Murad dress.

Giuliana Rancic was queen of the red carpet on Sunday. She rocked this edgy silver and black gown by Gabriela Cadena which had sheer panels on the tummy and the arms.

My last look is from Ashley Benson, even though she didn't wear a dress, Ashley stunned and brought sexy to the AMA's the girl is just perfect! She looked chic and sexy in this emerald colour suit from Max Azria Atelier.

That's it for this week's Celebrity Style Sunday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Holiday Gift Guide - Mother

Holiday Gift Guide - For Mother

I decided to write a few posts as "Gift Guide's" to help people get ideas for their loved ones this Christmas. This first post is dedicated to gift ideas that would be perfect to give to your mother.

A great idea for a present for your mum's is to get her favourite perfume or a perfume set. The Perfume Shop have some great sets available here: and with every £50 you spend, you get £5 off!

If your mum is obsessed with candles like mine is, I definitely recommend looking at getting her a Yankee Candle, these are the best candles I've ever had in my house and there are such great scents. You can view the Yankee Candles here:

Another great idea for a gift for your mother is to get her some of favourite skincare. Skincare can be such a nice item to receive as it would be used everyday and the Christmas sets are always beautifully packaged. Boots have a wide range of skincare, which are available to buy here:

The Body Shop have this incredible Spa Of The World Luxurious Body Collection out for this Christmas, and if you want your mum to feel pampered I definitely recommend getting her one of these. It is on the more expensive side at 120 euro but it includes an Egyptian Milk and Honey bath, an African Ximenia scrub, a Japanese Camella cream, a French Lavender massage oil and a Thai massager. If you think your mother would enjoy this, you can purchase the set here:

If your mother adores relaxing and soaking bubble baths, then I can recommend getting the Lush Christmas Bath Time Favourites. At £39.95, you get ten bath bombs that are a combination of all year round favourites and a couple of festive exclusives. You can purchase this bath time delight or any other Lush Christmas gifts here:

Another suggestion is this gorgeous Hooded Luxurious Dressing Gown from Marks and Spencers. With the cold weather there is nothing nicer than being all cosy in a big thick dressing gown, these dressing gowns have gotten many fans including Fleur De Force and Zoella loves the sparkling one. For 55 euro, you can select between black, ivory, dark oak or berry.

A gift which every mother loves receiving is jewelry. Whether your mother prefers earrings, necklaces, rings or bracelets, Ernest Jones have a great selection of jewelry and are having a Christmas sale. You can view Ernest Jones collection here:

If your mum loves cooking or baking, Anthropologie have amazing gifts that would suit her perfectly. Between cooking utensils and cook books, you will easily find the perfect gift here:

So that is it for this gift guide, look out for another one next week. I hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Manicure Monday

Manicure Monday

For this week's Manicure Monday, I chose to do a simple red nail. I used Attitude's "Red Hot" nail lacquer, I really like this polish as it lasts really well without chipping and is super pigmented from the first coat!

Method:

1. To start, I filed all my nails to make sure they were even and there were no hangnails.
2. After I filed my nails I applied a thing base coat to prevent the polish discolouring my nails.
3. Then I applied the first coat of polish.
4. Once the first coat of polish had dried, I applied the second coat.

5. After both coats had dried completely I then applied the top coat.

Beauty Thursday

Beauty Thursday

This week's Beauty Thursday is dedicated to my review of the November Glossybox and spoiler alert: IT'S AMAZING! Glossybox have heard our prayers the last few month's and really pulled it out of the bag the last two months. This month's box has definitely been my favourite box in a long time, so let's begin:

The first item in this month's box was a pair of Naturalities lashes from Eylure. Eylure are my favourite brand of eye lashes and I already own a pair of these lashes so I am so happy to have another pair. These fabulous lashes cost only £5 and were obviously a full sized product.

About a month or so ago, Glossybox asked us to pick a shade out of four from the Revlon Super Lustrous lipsticks. Seeing as I have so many shades of nudes, pinks and reds, I decided to be bold and picked the darker purple shade called "black cherry." I absolutely loved the colour of the lipstick and the packaging was beautiful. I did use a lipstick brush to apply because the colour would have gone everywhere otherwise but I am really glad I chose to go for a colour I wouldn't normally choose. We obviously got a full size of the lipstick and it was worth £7.99.

Another item we received this month was an illuminating primer from Emite make up. I haven't opened this yet because I want to use up my current primer before I open another one but I've read good reviews so I'm quite excited. This product is a travel size but is still a decent size product and a full size is worth £25.90.

We also received a moisturizing body lotion from Royal Apothic in this month's box. I really liked this lotion, it smelled quite nice and fresh and it made my body feel soft and well moisturized after using it. I'm pretty sure this was a full size product and is worht £14.50

The last item in this month's box was this Make Up Academy nude eye shadow palette and oh my goodness I am in love! I couldn't get over how pigmented each shadow was and they felt so soft and buttery. It really was such a great quality palette and this was definitely one of my favourite products I've received from Glossybox. I've included swatches of the shadows below so you could see just how pigmented they were. This incredible palette was a full size and is an absolute bargain costing just £4.

You can get 20% of any MUA product here: with the code MUAGLOSSY and it expires on the 31st of December.

If you want to subscribe to Glossybox, you can do so here:

What I Wore Wednesday

What I Wore Wednesday

This week's What I Wore Wednesday is dedicated to a recent girls night out I had. I am absolutely in love with this dress that I wore, it was a dark green-khaki coloured dress which I bought recently from River Island and I paired it with my trusty beige wedges from Korky's.

Manicure Monday

Manicure Monday

For this week's Manicure Monday, I chose a more muted nude nail colour. I was feeling very Winter ready so I wanted a nice Winter colour. I used E.L.F's "desert haze" polish. I adore this polish because it is so opaque and lasts really well without chipping, plus it's super affordable!

Method:

Celebrity Style Sunday

Celebrity Style Sunday

This week's Celebrity Style Sunday is dedicated to Cheryl Fernandez Versini. Cheryl first found fame from the British girl group Girls Aloud and then became loved by all when she joined the X Factor judging panel, now that Cheryl's back on our screens we are all back waiting to see more of her impeccable style.

Let's kick off this week's Style Sunday with a bang! This look is one Cheryl wore back in July this year for the X Factor auditions in Manchester. She wore a pair of Gucci polished leather Horsebit loafer pumps and a red Valentino colour-block leather mini dress.

Back in February 2011, Cheryl was seen looking as fabulous as ever leaving Heathrow airport. She wore a pair of Moxy suede hiking booties, a Stella McCartney foldover Falabella tote, Rag & Bone Leigh military cotton jacket and a pair of 7 For All Mankind mid rise jeans style leggings. Boohoo have a similar jacket here:

Last week Cheryl stunned when she attended the Music Industry Awards. She stunned in a Galvan embroidered long sleeve gown, a pair of Charlotte Olympia Take 110 film strip sandals. She accessorized with a pair of Maha Lozi dream catcher earrings.

In September 2015, Cheryl looked rock chic at the Bootcamp stage of the X Factor. She wore a Victoria Beckham Harrington jacket, a pair of Bionda Castana bay cheetah print pumps and a pair of Balmain quilted leather skinny pants. Boohoo have a similar jacket available to purchase here:

I absolutely love this look Cheryl wore to one of the The X Factor Results show back in October 2014. She looked beautiful in a Nicolas Jebran fall 2015 haute couture dress.

Cheryl looked super cosy and Winter ready in this Stylistpick photoshoot back in November 2012. She wore a pair of Cheryl Cole Collection for Stylistpick funky Munky tassal boots, an Isabel Marant Yoan Alpaca- Blend Instaria sweater and a pair of Goldsign Gloss Ruby skinny jeans.Villa have a lighter shade of the jeans here:

In October 2015, Cheryl looked gorgeous when she attended Nicola Roberts 30th birthday party. She wore a Balmain monochrome striped mini dress, a pair of Giuseppe Zanotti Roxanne sandals and a Saint Laurent Matelasse leather envelope clutch.

Cheryl channeled the "big hair don't care" vibe back in October 2012 when she and fellow Girls Aloud band members announced their tour. She wore Joseph Spark stretch leather leggings style pants, a pair of Gianvito Rossi pointed stiletto heel pumps, a Sandro blue cropped blazer and a Cheryl. My Design Pandora bracelet. ASOS have a similar pair of leggings available here:

In February 2011, Cheryl looked jaw droppingly gorgeous at the ELLE Style Awards. She stunned in an Alexander McQueen v-neck red gown and an Alexander McQueen Lace four- finger clutch.

Cheryl was Winter ready while heading to the X Factor rehearsals in October 2015. She wore an extremely cosy looking Michael Michael Kors ribbed knit buckle detail sweater and a pair of Helmut Lang stretch leather pants. Cari's Closet have a similar looking poncho available here:

I am absolutely in love with this stylish ensemble Cheryl wore while out in June 2015. She channeled elegance while still looking effortless. Cheryl wore a Rosetta Getty asymmetric double breasted Boucle coat, a Victoria Beckham leather clutch, a Chloe Iconic Crepe De Chine tank top and a pair of Givenchy Matilda sandals.

My all time favourite look from Cheryl is when she attended Cannes back in May to the Irrational Man premiere. She glowed in a Spring-Summer 2015 dress by Ralph and Russo and a Monica Vinader Diva cocktail ring.

So that's it for this week's Celebrity Style Sunday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog!
