Beauty Thursday
This week's Beauty Thursday is dedicated to a super dramatic, dark smokey eye tutorial perfect for going out tonight for New Years. I wore it to my college Christmas ball a couple of week's ago (picture above) and I got a lot of compliments on my eye makeup so thought I would do a tutorial for you guys.
To begin I did my typical foundation routine which you can view here. I used Inglot's HD foundation on the night of the ball as it works better when I'm tanned and I also did a more intense contour than I would use day to day. However today I'm wearing my Rimmel Match Perfect foundation. I then filled in my brows using Revlon Colour Stay liner in "03 brown." I then primed my lids using ELF's mineral eye shadow primer.
It was then time to begin my eyes, first I blended "Tease" from my Urban Naked 2 palette into my crease.
Then I blended "Pistol" also from the Naked 2 palette on the outer half of my crease.
Next up I applied this bright silver colour on the inner corners of the lid. I'm not quite sure what the brand of the shadow is but it came in lip gloss shape packaging.
I then applied Bellapierre "Whesek" on my middle and outer lid using a flat round shaped brush.
Next, using an angled brush I used Marsk "Fifty Shades" on the outer corners of the eyes.
Then using the white shade in my ELF Baked eye shadow palette, I highlighted the inner corner of my eyes and the brow bone.
Once that was done I lined my upper lash line and gave a slight cat flick using Rimmel London Scandaleye's thick and thin liner. I did make it quite intense on the inside of my eyes also. Next, lined my waterline and curled my lashes. Once my lashes were curled, I applied my Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara.
To finish off my look for the night I applied a liptstick combination. The first one I applied was Rimmel in the shade "200" and then I applied my Rimmel Lasting Finish Kate lipstick in the shade "03."
