Beauty Buy Of The Week

Beauty Buy Of The Week

This week's Beauty Buy Of The Week is this hand cream from Ziaja. The hand cream is a cashmere protein shea butter, it moisturizes and soothes dry and chapped skin while restoring skin elasticity and smoothness. I have to say I am loving this hand cream, because I have three horses my hands go through a lot of wear and tear. From filling haynets to getting blisters and chapped skin from my reins I really put them through a lot, and as a result I have the hands of a much older person. Thankfully this cream has turned back time and made my hands soft again. They smell amazing too, the cashmere scent is heavenly! I find myself constantly applying the cream and don't know how I lived without it!

Also to people with sensitive skin don't worry! As I have said before I have a very sensitive skin that reacts a lot to products but it didn't react to the Ziaja hand cream.

You can purchase Ziaja hand cream with cashmere proteins and shea butter here:

That's all for today folks, hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Tan Tuesday

Tan Tuesday

For this week's Tan Tuesday I chose Clarins Self Tanning Instant Gel. I found this gel great for getting a natural looking colour and it lasted well. I found the smell annoying though because I have found tans that don't smell but before I knew of those tans I thought it was great. This tan definitely needs to be applied with a mitt because it will go all over the inside of your hands if you rub it in with them. This is a great product if you're not looking to go extremely dark but want one shade darker just to enhance your glow.

I would rate this tan 3/5 because it takes so long to dry but is still a great product.

Manicure Monday

Manicure Monday

For this week's Manicure Monday I though I would show you how I store all my polishes and nail accessories. I use a small three drawer storage organizer which I got years ago for toys. Now that I use it for my nails I have different drawers for different things.

In the bottom drawer for sets. I have a manicure nail set from the Body Collection and my packet of Broadway Impress nails in this drawer.

The second drawer contains all my accessories. I keep some cotton wool and cotton buds in there along with nail varnish remover. I also have some wooden cuticle pushers, nail files and nail clippers. The remaining things in the second drawer are tissues, toe separators for pedicure and manicure tips to guide me when I am doing a manicure.

My last and favourite drawer is the one where I keep all of my nail polishes. I try to organize them by brand. I also have a little jar of nail diamontes.

You can purchase a similar storage box to keep all of your polishes and accessories here:

That's how I organize my nail polishes and accessories! Hope you enjoyed today's blog.

Celebrity Style Sunday

Celebrity Style Sunday

This week's Celebrity Style Sunday is dedicated to the amazing Lauren Conrad. She may have been labelled to have simple style last week, however I adore Lauren's style and think it is anything but. As much as I love other celeb's style I find that I most relate to Lauren's. She manages to look amazing in so called "simple" outfits that don't look so simple when she's finished. I prefer to think of Lauren's style as timeless because no matter what season or what year she could wear any of her outfits.

Lauren was out and about in West Hollywood in May 2013 for dinner. She wore a Tibi printed silk top, and a Valentino pointed toe pumps in black. She paired it with a brushed leather Balenciaga Aren Classic City bag. You can purchase a similar top here:

In 2012, Lauren celebrated her birthday at Hyde Bellagio in Las Vegas. She wore an Alice and Olivia Vista Sequined Tunic dress. She paired the dress with LC Lauren Conrad platform pumps in black. French Connection do a similar dress for sale from £160 down to £48 you can purchase it here:

Here was Lauren in Somerville in April 2014. She had a Balenciage Papier A4 tote bag and Chloe Lauren scalloped ballet flats in nude. You can get similar purple pants to the ones Lauren is wearing from VILA here: both my mum and I have multiple colours including the purple ones of these trousers.

LC looked adorable on an appearance of the Fashion Police in April 2014. She wore this elegant mint green dress from her own Paper Crown collection, this dress is her Parkside pleated dress. She accessorized the dress with her other collection LC Lauren Conrad strappy dress high heels in nude. You can get a similar dress from H! By Henry Holland here:

Here is the former The Hills star at LAX back in August 2013. She wore a Juicy Couture nautical stripe sweater and Alexander McQueen embellished suede slippers. To accessorize she wore a Balenciaga Weekender bag in black. You can get a similar sweater from Tommy Hilfiger here:

Lauren looked super sweet at Barnes and Noble in April 2012. She wore a Sparkle & Fade constellation shirt, a Paper Crown skirt and LC Lauren Conrad shoes. You can get a similar top here:

The former Laguna Beach star looked comfortable and chic while in Los Angeles in November 2013. She wore a cream Free People Linus Stripe pullover sweater. She had Chloe Lauren scalloped ballet flats, Emmanuelle Khanh 5050 sunglasses and a Chanel jumbo classic flap bag. You can get white skinny jeans to be like Lauren here:

Lauren looked gorgeous at a book signing in Philadelphia in October 2012. She wore this amazing Erin by Erin Fetherston fit and flare dress and Brian Atwood hidden platform pumps.

Conrad looked vibrant in March 2013 at the Cotton 24hour runway show. She wore this yellow Skaist Taylor Pamela pleated poplin dress. For shoes she wore Aldo Harvat wedged heels. River Island do similar wedges here:

I'm obsessed with this Kentucky Derby outfit from May 2013. Lauren wore LC Lauren Conrad platform high heels and a Paper Crown dress. Lauren looks so elegant and timeless, I just love it.

I love Lauren's look for the A Sweet Boutique Trunk Show. She wore a sexy Paper Crown by Lauren Conrad fake leather skirt and Steven by Steve Madden Ronda pumps. You can get a similar skirt from Miss Guided here:

My all time favourite street style look from Lauren Conrad is from June 2014. This look is from the 18th of June and she went for lunch at Lemonade, she wore a Paper Crown Sunset linen skirt in Oatmeal and a Pins and Needles tiie back cap sleeved black blouse. She accessorized the look with a Balenciaga Papier A4 tote and a DV by Dolce Vita Archer.

My last Lauren Conrad and also one of my favourite appearance looks is from March 2013. It was another look from the Cotton 24hour Runway Show, she wore Aldo Harvat wedged sandals and Black Halo Stirling dress.

That's all for today folks, hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Fragrance Friday

Fragrance Friday

This week's Fragrance Friday is for Taylor Swift's perfume Wonderstruck. It is the first fragrance launched by the the singer, it was named after the lyrics in her song Enchanted. The scent is described as floral wih sparkling fruity tones on a wooden background. My young cousin loves this perfume and I think the scent suits her however I find it too sickly, it gave me headache from the overpowering sweetness.

I would rate this perfume 2/5 I think it would suit the younger target audience because my younger cousins seem to really like it however I don't think it suits late teens or twenty year old's onward.

If you want to purchase Taylor Swift Wonderstruck here:

Hope you enjoyed this week's Fragrance Friday!
