Beauty Thursday

Beauty Thursday- Empties

So for this week's Beauty Thursday I thought I would do an empties post and show you guys what I have finished. I have been saving some of this stuff so that I had a big enough post to show you guys.

So shower wise I have finished my Aveeno body wash which was recently featured in my favourites and a bottle of Gilette Satin Care shaving cream for sensitive skin. I have already repurchased both of these, the shaving cream was nice on my skin and I LOVED my Aveeno body wash and how kind it was on my skin.

I also finished a packet of ELF make up remover wipes which I would love to repurchase but the website I bought them off of is no longer selling ELF products so if anyone knows where you can get ELF products to Ireland let me know!

I didn't completely finish the NYC "Rosy Knows Pink" but I had it 90% finished and I could tell when I used it recently that was the last use for it because it didn't have a great texture and there was only a little bit left anyway. I have a lot of nail varnish at the moment so I most likely won't buy it anytime soon but I did like the polish so I probably will purchase it at some stage in the future.

Skin care wise I finished my Vichy Purute Thermele 1 step cleanser and my e45 Intense Recovery lotion which was also featured in my recent favourites. I still have a full bottle of my Le Roche Posay cleanser so I will repurchase it once I have finished my Le Roche Posay cleanser because it's handy to know I have an affordable enough cleanser to works well with my sensitive skin. I have already repurchased my e45 Instense Recovery lotion because I have to moisturize with it everyday after my shower and again before bed to keep the dry skin away.

I finished two lip products this month. I finished my Rimmel exaggerate lip liner in "East End Snob" which I have already repurchased and my Maybelline Colour Drama velvet lip pencil in the shade "630 nude perfection" which I have also repurchased. I love them both they are both such pretty colours and last so well.

I finished one foundation recently. I finished my Rimmel London Match Perfect foundation in the shade "ivory." I have also repurchased this item I am having a bit of a love obsession with several foundations at the moment and this is one.

I also finished one fragrance this month which I am super depressed about. I have a tendency to use my perfumes till they get to the stage of a couple uses left and get sad so then only spray it every once and a while and this happened with my Beyonce Heat perfume only my "every once and a while" spritz have officially used it all up. I will definitely be repurchasing this fragrance, I love it so much it's such a sexy going out scent perfect to wear for a night out during the Summer so yeah I NEED to repurchase it soon.

My last item that I have used up is a shadow from my W7 Out On The Town Angel Eye's palette. I haven't used the complete palette (because who does that) but out of the three colours that I would use the whole time, I have hit pan on two of them and I have completely finished one colour. The two colours I hit pan on where the light matte brown shade and the dark matte brown shade. The colour I completely used up was the light cream-beige colour and I mean I had used 98% of it and I was still awkwardly scraping my brush around the pan to get the last bit out of it. I really liked this palette, the three colours I mentioned would be the ones I would wear most days and I am super sad to have finished the cream colour I think I have a similar shade to it so I wont be repurchasing the palette just for the one shade but maybe when I use up a lot of them if it ever happens.

So that's it for this week's Beauty Thursday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog!

What I Wore Wednesday

What I Wore Wednesday

So this week's What I Wore Wednesday is an outfit I wore to a friend's 21st party and good lord was that weekend a busy one, another friend's 21st was also that weekend (that will feature as next week's What I Wore.) I was honestly so tired after that weekend that I don't know how I survived it seemed so much easier going out all the time back when I was 17 and 18, is this when I lose my youth?! Now I'm done with my rambling, just before I get into outfit details be prepared for a few more 21st party outfits because it seems all of my friends are turning 21 at the moment so now that I've said that here we go:

For this 21st I was not in the mood to tan my legs because I would be tanning them the next day so I went for a pair of super skinny jeans from Penney's/Primark in a dark shade of denim and they actually looked amazing and were super comfortable I was very impressed. I also wore my red peplum top which was from Lipsy and I paired the outfit with my black River Island boots.

- You can purchase the super skinny jeans from any Penney's/Primark store.

- You can purchase the Chelsea ankle boots from River Island here:

That's it for this week's What I Wore Wednesday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Manicure Monday

Manicure Monday

For this week's Manicure Monday I chose NYC New York Colour Expert Last nail polish. The shade I chose was Rosy Knows Pink. I really like this nail varnish because it lasts really long and doesn't chip easily which is so great because I find most nail varnishes that say they don't chip actually do, but this one doesn't. The colour is also so chic and the nail polish is so cheap.

Method:
1. File all nails so they're equal length.
2. Apply base coat to prevent discolouring of the nails.
3. Then apply the first coat of polish.
4. Once the first coat is dry apply the second coat.
5. After the second coat has dried apply a clear top coat.

Hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Celebrity Style Sunday

Celebrity Style Sunday

This week's Celebrity Style Sunday is dedicated to the fabulous Sarah Jessica Parker. The fabulous fashionista has been infamous for years when it comes to her taste in style.

To kick off this week's Celebrity Style Sunday I chose this gorgeous look from the 2010 Met Gala. Miss Parker shone in this strapless Halston gown.

Sarah Jessica Parker looked comfy and chic while out and about. She wore a pair of 7 For All mankind shoes and an Isabel Marant shirt. Schuh have similar ankle boots which you can purchase here:

In May the Sex and The City star attended a Way To Win dinner. She looked beautiful in an Alice and Olivia Elina wide waistband sleeveless flare gown.

In September 2014 the actress looked at easy while out and about. She wore a pair of Mary Janes, a Chanel fanny pack and a pair of rtA distressed jeans. You can purchase jeans similar from River Island here:

Miss Parker was putting colour blockers to shame when she rocked up looking fabulous back in September 2011. She wore a red Prabal Gurung blouse and pink wool pants. Get a pair of beautifully bright colour block worth trousers from River Island here:

In February last year, the lady behind Carrie Bradshaw was a lady who lunched accessorizing with this amazing patterned Dolce and Gabanna handbag.

Sarah Jessica Parker looked flawless back in June 2014 when she attended a Cosmo seminar. She donned a lace accented LWD tailored black blazer, a gold chained bucket bag and a pair of her own SJP collection fuchsia pumps. New Look have a similar pair of heels available here:

The actress and mother looked flawless in metallic when she attended the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory London premiere in 2013. She wore a Fendi bag and a Marc Jacobs dress.

Miss Parker was a busy bee while in New York back in September 2013. She accessorized her simple outfit with a pop of colour in this gorgeous bright yellow Louis Vuitton bag. If you aren't brave enough for the full on colour get a more discrete version of the bag here:
I adore this look she wore to the Sex And The City New York premiere back in May 2008. This stunning glam designed by Nina Ricci was a serious nod to her alter ego Carrie Bradshaw.

As usual Miss Parker looked fashionable and stunning at the AOL New Front last month. She stunned in this Alexander McQueen floral jacquard wool dress.

My final and favourite look from Sarah Jessica Parker was from the 81st Academy Awards in 2009. I honestly love how much of a princess she looked in this incredible silver Dior Haute Couture gown.

Beauty Thursday

Beauty Thursday

For this week's Beauty Thursday I thought I would show you guys what was in my May Glossybox. As per usual I was so excited to receive my Glossybox however, when I first opened the box I was a little disappointed that there were no particularly exciting products but as I tried out the products they were actually really nice.

Zerreau Towel Off  Shampoo Foam

The first item in this month's Glossybox was this towel off shampoo. This was basically a new type of dry shampoo, you apply the foam to your scalp and massage it in, then you remove the foam by towel drying your hair. A full size is worth £7.95 and if you use the code Gbox052015 by the 20th of June you can get 20% off here: The apple scent of the shampoo was amazing I loved the smell of it and I found it worked well. I would definitely recommend purchasing a bottle if you are going to any festivals this summer.

Etre Belle Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturising Gel

Next up was the moisturising gel which had aloe vera, I think this would be great if you have sun burn on your face or something like that because of the aloe vera. I had applied the gel on my face and it felt super moisturized and I could really feel the aloe vera cooling my face which is why I would recommend it for sun burn. A full size is worth £15.93 and you can purchase it here: Also how cute is the packaging it is super simple but classy as it has the white lid with a gold band around.

MeMeMe Enchanted Eyes Dual Ended Eye Wand

Another product this month was this dual ended eyeliner in a light blue shade and a navy shade, as well as working as an eyeliner it also works as a shadow stick. This is a full size and costs £6.95 here: I love how pigmented each side was however I don't know how often I can wear this, trend or not it isn't that often that I can wear blue eyeliner with my brown eyes which is kinda disappointing.

SASS Intimate Perfect Skin Concentrate

This next item was to soothe and prevent ingrown hairs after shaving. I wasn't sure how effective this was going to be, however after trying it I was really impressed with the results. I gently massaged two pumps on after shaving and I found my skin felt so soft even hours after. This was a full size and costs £12 and you can purchase it here:

Collection Cosmetics Field Day Lipstick

This Collection lipsticks was super pretty with the pastel pink coloured. It has a great matte finish, I found it's super pigmented and lasted well. These lipsticks are also super cheap costing just £2.99. You can purchase your own lipstick here:

If you would like to subscribe to Glossybox, you can do so here:

So that's it for this week's Beauty Thursday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Manicure Monday

Manicure Monday

For this week's Manicure Monday I went for a purple nail look. I chose essence colour and go in the shade "132 break through." Although the polish can chip quickly it's great because it's so pigmented and and is so cheap.

Method:

1. File all nails so they're even and there are no hang nails.
2. Apply a base coat to prevent staining the nail.
3. Paint on the first layer of nail varnish.
4. Once the first layer is dry, apply the second layer of polish.
5. After the second layer of polish is dry, I applied a top coat to prevent chipping.

That's it for this week's Manicure Monday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog!
