Beauty Thursday

Beauty Thursday

So this week's Beauty Thursday I chose to do an empties/ a throw out post. I have been saving some of this stuff just so I could do a large post for you guys.

So the first thing I finished which I forgot to include in the photo was my Aussie Winter Miracle shampoo and conditioner. I was so depressed I finished these, I have already repurchased a similar product. It's not the winter one but it's still the miracle shampoo and conditioner. I LOVED the smell it had on my hair and my hair was super soft.

In the last couple of month's I finished two tans, I finished a bottle of Baby Browne and a bottle of Cocoa Browne "Night and Day" tan.

Skin care wise I finished my moisturizer and my body exfoliater. I finished Le Roche Posay Hydraphase intense rich moisturizer for dry skin. I also finished St Ives apricot body scrub. I am definitely repurchasing both.

Next up was the nail varnishes I finished or I discovered had dried up. (Left to right) there was w7's "blue lagoon", an essence colour and go "back to black," the barbie doll pink was from Sugardoll and then lastly I finished an Avon coral colour.

Time for the eye's. First off I finished up a Rimmel Scandal eyes mascara, I liked it however I have multiple mascara's so I won't be repurchasing it until I finish those. I also finished my Wet 'n' Wild "Creme Brulee" singular eyeshadow which I LOVED so I'll definitely be repurchasing. I'm throwing out the purple MeMeMe trio which I got in a Glossybox, the colours don't really suit me and I'm never gonna use it so I'm just giving it away. The last item I am getting rid of is my No7 "Stay Perfect" eye pencil in brown, I have a lot of eye liner pencils and wasn't in love with it so I won't be repurchasing.

I also finished my Benefit Fake Up concealer and Hello Flawless foundation (I had one more use when I took the photo.) I loved my Hello Flawless foundation so I will definitely be repurchasing but I have a few alternative foundations that I want to try out before I repurchase the Benefit one. I also threw out an essence Stay All Day foundation which honestly I didn't know I had and doesn't even match my skin tone so I won't be repurchasing.

That's it for this week's Beauty Thursday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Manicure Monday

Manicure Monday

This week's Manicure Monday, I chose a taupe coloured nail and a baby pink ring finger. I chose Maybelline Colour Show "Midnight Taupe" and Wet 'n' Wild''s Wild Shine "Tickled Pink."

1. I began by filing my nails to prevent any hangnails.
2. I then applied a base coat to prevent the polish discolouring my nails.
3. Next I painted all of my nails excluding the two ring fingers with the "Midnight Taupe" polish with a first coat.
4. After I painted the first coat, I applied a first coat of "Tickled Pink" to the ring fingers.
5. Once the first coats were dry, I applied a second coat by repeating steps 3&4.
6. After the second coat dried, I applied a top coat to prevent chipping.

If you want to purchase "Midnight Taupe" you can do so here:

Celebrity Style Sunday

Celebrity Style Sunday

This week's Celebrity Style Sunday is dedicated to my best dressed list from the 2915 Grammy's red carpet.

So I think Taylor Swift made it on to a lot of people's favourite list. She stunned in this ocean blue gown by Elie Saab. She paired it with Giuseppi Zanotti heels.

Next up is the beautiful Katy Perry. She dropped jaws in this Zuhair Murad dress and just look how flawless her make up is!

Shocker I loved another white gown.. Chrissy Teigen wowed in Emilio Pucci.

Anna Kendrick looked chic and sexy in this Band Of Outsiders suit and Jimmy Choo heels.

Jennifer Hudson looked sleek and elegant in this beautiful, yet simple Tom Ford dress, which she paired with DSquared2 heels.

So this look wasn't exactly on the red carpet but I love it too much. First off, I really liked Beyonce's red carpet look, she looked stunning but it didn't wow me, I had seen it before and it was just blah. However, I LOVE this custom Roberto Cavalli atelier dress that she wore performing.

One look that I swear I did for a couple seconds for was Kylie Jenner at the Georgio Armani after party. She looks so amazing and sexy (is she old enough to say sexy?) I was honestly so wowed by it and I love her hair back long and black. I semi wished Kim had worn this gown, and I can't find who created this gown anywhere but it's amazing.

That's it for this week's Celebrity Style Sunday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Beauty Thursday

Beauty Thursday

This week's Beauty Thursday is all about the February Glossybox. Can I just say first impression is it's adorable, how cute is that box though?! Now let's get to the fun stuff.

Wilkinson Sword Hydro Silk

So the first item in the Glossybox was the Wilkinson Sword Hydro Silk razor. It has a moisturizing serum infused to hydrate the skin after shaving. I really liked the razor it had my legs super soft which I loved but it wasn't the most exciting product. I love my legs after shaving but I just like to receive things that are more fun. This product was full size and worth £9.99 or 12.99euro you can purchase the Wilkinson Sword Hydro Silk here:

Royal Apothic Tinties

First off I LOVE the packaging it is far too adorable. This is also a full sized product which costs $14, this coral coloured tint contains shea butter and argan, grape see and almond oil which nourishes the lips. This product also smells AMAZING, the colour was super pretty too. It was a nice tint that had a hint of gloss but it wasn't overly sticky so that was great. You can purchase this item here:

Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow- Fifty Shades

One of my favourite parts of this month's box was the Marsk mineral eyeshadow in the colour "fifty shades." Marsk were inspired by the film 50 Shades of Grey and I LOVE this shaow. It's extremely pigmented and is a great colour. This was a full sized product and it costs £14.49. You can purchase this item here:

So Susan Rose Quartlet Lip and Cheek Palette

First off I love the packaging on this product, So Susan's packaging is always so classic and beautiful. This product would be great if you're travelling so you don't have to bring a bunch of lipsticks with you. I LOVED the two shades on the left. The lighter pink shade was also quite nice but the brown-pink one underneath it, didn't actually do anything. Other than the brown colour, the shades were super pigmented so I am so happy I got this. This was a full sized product and costs £8, you can purchase this item here:

Face D 3- Luronics Anti Dark Circles Eye Cream

The last item I received in this month's Glossybox was this anti dark circles eye cream from Face D. As bad as it sounds I'm not overly into eye creams so keep in mind I don't know much about them but I figured I'd give it a try and see what I thought. I was intrigued with the idea of the idea about reducing dark circles because it feels like concealer doesn't do the trick all the time. It claims to reduce the dark circles in thirty minutes. I'm not sure how much of an effect it has long term but I have been using it most days since receiving my Glossybox and I will admit I was impressed with this cream. I noticed that in the morning I would apply this straight after getting up and then would continue getting ready that by the time I was doing my make up the cream had kicked in and my face was less puffy and my make up looked better. The cream is a nice consistency that I think a little goes a long way and it will last a good while. We received a 7ml bottle and a full sized one is 15ml that costs 22.95 euro. You can purchase the Face D 3 Luronics Anti Dark Circles eye cream here:

What I Wore Wednesday

What I Wore Wednesday

So for this week's What I Wore Wednesday, I thought I would do the outfit I wore on Valentine's Day. I wore this out to dinner and for drinks. I wore this gorgeous white peplum bardot top from Michelle Keegan's line for Lipsy. I paired it with a pair of black skinny jeans New Look. To dinner, I chose to wear my leopard print pumps from Bank, and then for drinks I put on my nude wedges from Korky's.

Manicure Monday

Manicure Monday

For this week's Manicure Monday, I decided to do something a little different and actually did a design on my nails. I used Seventeen "Potion" and Essence "Back to Black." To create the design I used medical tape as a template.

Method:

1. To begin I applied a base coat to all of my nails to prevent discolouring of the nail.
2. I painted all of my nails with the 17 polish except for the ring fingers.
3. As seen from the picture above I used the tape as a marker, I placed the tape from one corner of my nail to the top of the opposite corner.
4.Next I painted the triangle underneath the tape with the black polish.
5. I repeated step 4 with all of my nails except for my ring fingers.

6. For my ring fingers, I painted the nails with the black polish first.
7. Once the black polish was dry, I placed one piece of tape below the corner and one piee of tape above the corner (as seen in the picture above.)
8. I then painted in the gap with the 17 polish.
9. Once all nails were dry, I applied a top coat.

Celebrity Style Sunday

Celebrity Style Sunday

So for this week's Celebrity Style Sunday I thought I would go through my best dressed celebrities that were on the BAFTA's red carpet. (Next week's post will be on the 2015 Grammy's.)

To kick off my favourite outfit's of the night I chose Amy Adams. she looked amazing in this white Lanvin gown which featured a detailed waistline. The more I have been doing actual blog posts on my opinion of best dressed celebrities on the red carpet, the more I have realized I'm kind of obsessed with a white gown.

Another favourite of mine was the fabulous Reese Witherspoon, who to be honest will rarely not make it onto my best dressed list. She looked elegant and sexy wearing Tiffany diamonds and a plum coloured Stella McCartney dress. Reese is one hot momma in this gown, I also think at the BAFTA's Stella McCartney dominated the red carpet this year all of her gowns were just WOW.

Gugu Mbatha Raw also attended the BAFTA's and she looked absolutely radiant in this lilac open back gown which featured black trims and crystals. The Prada gown actually surprised me because even with the black features the gown still remained feminine, it didn't change the idea of the dress at all, they just enhanced it.

To anyone who did not like Laura Haddock's gown from this years BAFTA's shame on you. Well obviously it's your own opinion, but I think Laura got to live out every little girls dream of being a princess in this incredible tulle gown. She stunned in this beautiful one of a kind Ashi Studio gown.

Another one of my favourite looks was Lea Seydoux in an elegant vintage looking, mustard gown designed by Prada.

The last beauty on my best dressed list is Laura Bailey she stood out in this unusual and elegant gown by Emilia Wickstead.

Well that's it for this week's Celebrity Style Sunday, I hope you enjoyed today's blog!

Beauty Thursday

Beauty Thursday

This week's Beauty Thursday I did a soft romantic look that you can use for Valentine's Day.

To begin I did my usual foundation routine, I did a previous blog post on my foundation routine which you can check out here: I also filled in my brows with my ModelCo More Brows Fibre Gel.

To start my eye's I applied my Absolute Perfecting eye shadow primer and then brushed Wet 'n' Wild's "Creme brulee" all over the lids as a base.

Next I swept Catrice Liquid Metal shadow in the shade "Gold 'n' Roses" on the lid. This is a super pretty pinky gold colour.

I then blended another Catrice Liquid Metal shadow called "We Are The Champagnes" into the crease and outer V.

After I finished the Catrice Liquid Metal eye shadows, I blended Mattify Cosmetic's "Iced Apricot" into the crease.

To complete my eyes, I lined my upper lid with Benefit's "They're Real" liner. I also lined my water line with my e.l.f shimmer eye liner pencil in white. Then I curled my lashes and applied mascara, I used No7 intense volume mascara. To finish my look I applied my Bellapierre Cheek and Lip Stain in "Coral." I also set my make up with my e.l.f setting spray.

Completed Look:
